Sick of this phone number calling me! 707-668-9861!!!

This number calls be several times a week about my old Family Cirlce subscription.  Tonight I asked them to take my number off of their list again and the guy says "We'll think about it" and hung up.  I tried calling back but it won't go through.

After these people charged $276 on my 82 year old mother's credit card she stopped answering their harrassing phone calls all hours of the day & night and then they started to call me. We are both unlisted & on the DO NOT CALL LIST which I update all the time.  
I received a call today and after I told her I was my mom & they charged my card & I did not want the magazine she hung up on me.
I called OK Magazine:

I let OK Magazine know they are calling people as their representation. This is pathetic and these people are disgusting. I am now reporting them to the Attorney General Office in my county.

Got a call from this number - asked for me by name - I was on another long distance call.  She wanted to hold.  Held for 3 minutes and hung up.  I am on the NO CALL list and this is not acceptable!  Tried to call back and got fast busy signal.

i received 2 calls from this number i called back but no answer. its very annoying.. what can we do?

Several times a day--check caller ID and I am also on DO NOT CALL list.

everytime I get on on my emergency only "free telephone" I answe and yell at them very nastily and rudely. IThis phone is not used for anything and I never gave the number out to anyone for any reason. They wish they never dialed the number much less entered in their sales call database. Got a call today and just yelled "boy you are really a moron to keep callling this number, keep calling I like yelling in your ear, it really makes my day!" They don't call too often, I suppose someday they may stop, this is the only number I ever answer and react to like this as while I have gotten wrong numbers they normally hear the recording and dont bother to call back this noron never figured it out so I knew they were some sales agency, thus they ignore my being on the "Do not call registry" so I ignore common decency and use them as stress release....feels good to swear at and belittle them when they decide to call again. "Insert wicked laugh track....."

Calls and calls...No message...Finally, a "Denise Manuel" came on the line and claimed to be with US Weekly...Said she was calling to "lower my subscription rate because I'm in good standing with the publisher". I don't even HAVE a subscription to US Weekly!!! Told them to stop calling this number, but we'll see if they actually LISTEN instead of pestering the same number every 3 hours like they have been!!!

Scam for subscriptions.

Got two calls from this number today on my cell phone. First time was early a.m., I was asleep and did not answer. Then another call just now at 1:42 p.m. I answered and an Asian-sounding man said "May I speak to Wonglee." I said there is no one by that name at this number." He said, apparently stupid, "There no Mr. Wonglee there?" I said, speaking slowly and clearly, "NO. You - have - the - wrong - num - ber.  No Wong - Lee here." The caller just hung up.

Why can't these pests be exterminated?

Whenever I get a call that I suspect by the number is a phone solicitor* or other pest that I don't need to speak to, I answer "City Attorney's Office." They can't hang up fast enough!

You could also say "VAPD Westholme Division, Officer Everhard speaking, how may I help you?"

Or "Coroner's Office" or "Heavenly Rest Mortuary" or "Holiness Church Donation Hotline" or "Adult Baby's Play-pen" etc etc etc ..... most any of these should yield a quick departure from the evil phone caller!

Just make sure you use phony names &/or places!!

* I have found that being on the "do-not-call" list is not 100% foolproof - I've been on it for years and still occasionally get calls from phone solicitors.

We keep getting calls from this number. We have not answered it and when it goes to the answering machine..they hang up. I counted 3 phone calls just this morning.

I keep receiving hang up calls from this number. I already am on the do not call list.

I have been getting calls from this number for several days now on my cell phone. When I answer there is no one there.

This no. calls 3x daily for 3 weeks.  I won't answer it as it's a cellular phone.

Great ideas!  My father says "Vito's Pizzeria, we deliver" and his weird calls don't phone back.  :D

I got a call from this number, which I missed. I called back because I was waiting for a call from another company and the call did not go through. They left no message. I am glad I saw this posts because I will not answer calls from this number now.

This was a call to my cell phone.  I did not answer.

This number has call me twice today. I did not pick up but called back and it was picked up by voice mail by a female voice who said that you have reached Sonia please leave a message.  I just let it run until the system hung up automatically.  If they get enough of these call backs maybe they will cease calling.
