This number is a major nuisance. Usually they call me in the early evening or afternoon. The last call came in at 10:00 PM tonight. This is the latest a con telemarketer called me.

At the very least 1 calll per day. I have never answered because I do't reconize the number.  NEVER leaves a message which leaves me to know its a crank or scam.  Why cant these be stopped. I have instructed everyone in the house not to answer any calls unless you know the number or they leave a message. Idiots! 707-723-4478.

Got a call...dead air.

Called twice already this am.  It's Good Friday for crying out loud!  Did not answer & won't if called again.

Senior Scam number from California keeps calling,

In the past week I have received 2 calls from this number and a 3rd call from another number, all with call display showing NAME = "V" + some random sequence of numbers.

3/29:  Name = "V3291117270026" Number = 1-707-723-4478
3/28:  Name = "V3281937140064" Number = 1-707-723-4478
3/27:  Name = "V3281937140064" Number = 1-646-490-2387

I have received other calls in the past where the Name is similar ("V" + sequence of numbers).

Clearly, as another poster has suggested, they stop calling from one number and then start calling from another one.

In the past two weeks I have noticed a definite increase in the number of nuisance calls I'm getting.

Called today but no message.

Even called this morning -- Good Friday!  Seriously!!

Name showed up V329121340026 and then 707-723-4478.  No message on machine.

I get calls from this number a few times a day. Today I finally answered..silence and then a hang up. I really don't get it!

Just got a call from them. They've called me at least 5 times already this week, at least multiple times a day. Like a post above said, the name on the caller ID shows V + some random sequence of numbers. This is just annoying!

Called me yesterday and today (stat holiday).  I don't know anyone in CA right now so knew it was just a scam.  I am not a senior either so no idea how they got my number.  I am in Alberta too.  Wonder if they have recently decided to concentrate their efforts on Western Canada.  I might try picking up the line next time and test them out to see how they deal with someone speaking another language... I expect a hang up will be in my near future...I am also on the Do Not Call List but I fully realize that only stops legitimate telemarketers from calling and not the scammers.  Too bad.

This call is a senior scam call.  On the recording, they tell you to press 5 if you don't want to receive any more calls from them.  I did so & an hour later they called me from another phone number

Got call in Saskatchewan.  Ignored it the first time, answered the second time.  Got dead air for 2 seconds, so hung up. First call had name "V32912372700268", second call did not have a name in the display.

Darned nuisances, call multiple times daily.....no conversation ?????

This number calls me - I do not answer as I do not know anybody in California. No message left.  The best thing I ever did was to get call display.  Therefore, I do not have to worry, I would miss a call I wanted to answer - and do not answer any of this type of fraudulant calls.

I have also received 2 calls today so far.. will try to block tho SHAW does not let me block most telemarketers.. no seniors here either

I found the source of the calls it is  MEDICAL SYSTEMS INC>  of Central Florida near Tigertown.  33803 at (863) 683-1170.   They were recently signed on to Virtual PBX Inc. carrier out of San Jose California at 95113  1-888-825-0800 (calling this number and reporting the dialer call to customer support will assist in shutting them down sooner and with evidence.)  They route the call through VIrtual PBX in San Jose California and back to level 3 communications in Denver, Colorado and through finally through Pac-west communications in Healdsburg california and on to your home.   PBX is working on shutting them down and prosecuting the owner of this line to the fullest extent of the law will allow in Florida....the days are numbered likely so hang in there !!!!
