Called and I answered. No one there. Number is not in service. Suspect this is A-1 Solar with yet another spoofed 707 number.

have gotten calls repeatedly from 1-707-894-1059 (Cloverdale, CA).  Nobody answers when I pick up, and when I call back I get message that it is not in service/disconnected.  they have called on the average of once a month for the past 6 months.

They call every day, early in the morning and after 6 at night. I'm so sick of it, I call it back and I get it has been disconnected ? How do they use numbers that are supposedly disconnected ? These jerks need to be brought down !

One of the easiest ways to fool a non-technical person like you is to record the disconnected message on a voice mail announcement.

Because telephones have advanced a lot since the days of oatmeal boxes with connecting strings, a more sophisticated scammer has many more and much more effective ways of doing it.  But that's way beyond the scope of what I feel like discussing right now, and it would severely tax your patience, anyway.

I get almost daily calls from this number and no one is on the line. Same experience as others here - return calls give me message that the line is disconnected

I, too, have been receiving    these calls from this number, ad nau·se·am  for  months!  I have asked politely, to have my number removed, and they 'pretend' to agree to do so, then hang up.  Today, I had a call from a young woman, at this number and she got soooooo angry at me for asking her to speak to her supervisor, she was yelling at me, and I hung  up... I am sick of this harassment by these "disconnected' numbers calling me!   As everyone else is.   WHY does the phone company allow it?   and WHAT do I have to do to STOP them!?

This number calls me multiple times every day. An internet search shows that it is calling a number of people. When it is called it says the number is disconnected. The number is 707 894-1059

Who is Sheldon?  And what is condescending about my reply?  **Most** users of telephones don't know how they work -- the old Bell System used to design phones and telephone systems (at great expense, I might add) so as to hide all the complexities of the switching equipment they built and used behind the scenes.  All you had to do is plug in a phone and dial.  Anywhere.  And, especially with the breakup of the Bell System, things have only gotten **much more** complicated.

I decided to keep my answer simple to provide one easy case that shows how you can be fooled rather than write a college thesis on multimedia switching systems that would probably never get read or understood by most people here, anyway.  The only people who would really need to know that information already know it, and wouldn't have asked the question in the first place.

Been calling here for several months 2x per day. Say with government and have 7000. Dollars for me lol I don't think so. I wish phone company cared but they don't. Just another scam.

I've reported them to the FCC for harassment.  I get called 1-2 times daily by this or two other numbers.  All from Cloverdale and all come up blank when answered.  I am on the National Do Not Call Registry.  I advise you all and anyone else reading this to report them here:
