Robocall at lunchtime on a holiday.  Three strikes.  Caller ID says "Power Center."  Message on answering machine was about getting a discount on our ComEd bill and to press 5 to see which one we were eligible for.  I hate these scamming power deregulation lowlifes.

Don't answer.  Tell them nothing -- not your name, not your ComEd account number, nothing. Report these phishing scumbags to www.donotcall.gov.

This # + 708 252 3847, 708 529 4767 or 68, and 708 571 0390 are all the same - cut your electric bill.

Did not answer, no message left

Got call from this # this afternoon. Hung up, no message. I'm on the "do not call" list, whatever that means.

I get a call every week from this bunch of apparent scammers. I answered the first call and after their standard spiel,they wanted my Con Ed account #. Told them no way and asked them to stop calling! They still call every week, at least once, but I just don't answer!

These cons call every other day the past year, throughout the week, including Sundays, morning and night.
They have absolutely NOTHING to do with Con Ed...They want us to sign up with their company. Don't do it.

I'm so sick of these bull-shxtters....sometimes, I turn up the radio and place the mouthpiece nearest the speaker, wait a few seconds then hang-up.

Scammer. I asked for the name of the company and the location and she told me "Power Choice" and "We're all over the US". I asked her if she had heard of the Do Not Call registry and she immediately hung up.

Incredible number of 'power company' scammers!

Noted a charge on CC for 4.99 after similar call last week. Particular card was involved in both recent major retailer breach.  Seems they are checking for someone live on the # you have for the card. Figure no one will notice small amounts per individual. But times 1000? Problem is I know elders that will gladly talk away. Scams also finance the terrorist networks. SO DO NOT answer the phone for numbers you don't recognize and Review your Telephone Bill and credit card bills closely

You will NEVER get me to answer your call.  I am staying with ComEd and that is for sure!  I am not changing ever!

Got robo call a few minutes ago. Claim to be ComEd and that we are eligible for electricity discount. I hung up.

prob is.. I've had calls like this before and they claim they are with comed and when you call back sometimes they are but they are still selling stuff.
supposedly for the do not call, you cant already be doing biz with the company and have them blocked

Speaking of scams, since at&  t forced all of us to go uverse, I have caller id now, which, I wish I did not have. so If I'm sittin here and I don't rec. a #, I pickup then hangup, so I don't have to deal.
