I received a call from 708 248 6148.  Same message.  Same 866 933 6013 ext 243.  Annoying attempt to do people out of the money they already don't have.  Shame isn't it.

I received a call/voicemail from "Premium Gifting" via a landline from the southern suburbs of Chicago (area code 708). I had lived in the southern suburbs of Chicago for many years and I can tell you that not much good comes from there, LOL. The message said that I "won" a new car from a form I filled out 6-18 months ago (which I don't ever do by practice) and they said to call them back because this was "time-sensitive". The message never addressed me or anyone in my family by name, which is a big, fat red flag! The message also assured me that they were NOT a time share or vacation property, which is truthful, but if you google Premium Gifting you'll find a shady-looking website that has a client list full of...time shares and vacation properties!

Thank you for this post.  I just listened to a recorded message re "Premium Gifting" (left while I was at work) re winning a new car and was very suspicious of the recording.  Before calling the number, I Googled it and am now seeing various related posts.  Thanks everyone for the warning.

I have received a suspicious message from Premium Gifting, also.  The message assures me that they are not telemarketers, that they know I am on the "Do Not Call List" so obviously they wouldn't be calling me if they weren't legitimate, that I had won a prize, and that I was eligible for one of four more including a new car.  This is obviously a new scam but I don't have the time or inclination to expose it.  If I had really won a prize, I would receive notice of it in the mail.  Legitimate companies don't act this way.
The number they called from is a Chicago number:  773-891-2786.  As they are in the USA, these people could get into some trouble for pulling scams.  If anyone is interested, take a look at their hinky website: http://premiumgifting.com.

The telemarketers at Premium Gifting have been busy!  Today we received a voicemail from Premium Gifting stating we won either a car or one of the Top Four prizes from a form we completed 12 to 18 months ago.  We live in the Milwaukee area (414 area code).  

The message:
* did not address us by name
* stated the call was time sensitive
* indicated they do not use "do not call numbers" and they are not a telemarketing company
* noted to call 1-866-933-6013 ext. 243 and speak with Kevin

I received a call from Premium Gifting moments ago.  I have caller id and when I saw the name and number, I let the machine pick up the call.  The number was 708-248-7556.  The male caller left a similar message about winning a car from a entry made 6 to 18 months ago...

I Googled the name and number and found this web site...

I just received a message from someone claiming there name was john from premium gifting claiming i had entered some contest or something 12-18 months ago,and i won a car and then they assured me this was not a co call,telemarketers,or time shares,and then said that i was going to be awarded 1 of their top 4 prizes,and had i not entered they would not be calling;this was time sensitive.I thought i would google before calling,and thats when i ran across this site  I've always been taught in life nothings free! I just received a phone call from some saying that I had won a gift.  And that if I did not respond than I would not receive it..I never enter contest so I know this is a scam....I was to return the call at 1-866-933-6013 ext. 111  but on my caller ID the number was 312-322-9102...Please stay clear of this number...

I received a call from 866/933-6013 Ext 124, telling me I entered a contest for a brand new 2011 Ford Explorer and I entered 12-18 months ago. I asked the agent if I did it 12-18 months ago, I would be entered for a 2010 Ford, not a 2011 since they haven't been made yet.I aked if she could tell me where I supposedly entered & she said at a sporting event, online or a hotel. Told her I did none of the above. Funny thing is I could here kids playing in the background and someone telling her what to say. Then she asked me if my income is still the same, am I still married,etc. Also asked how close I was to Tampa, Fl & told them I was a half hour away. Funny how suddenly she went from saying they were sending me a scratch off ticket & whatever that ticket said I won to they were having a winners drawing at 3pm that day. She told me to go to a local condo in Tampa where the drawing is being held. Right then I knew this was a scam or a set up. I told the agent I couldn't make it their today but when I call back and get an address to come claim my so called prize at this fake winners drawing, I explained to her I will be sure to bring a friend of mine who is a cop. Suddenly there was noone on the phone

I've been getting these calls for about two months....always a different person. I figured it was a new scam but called the toll-free # anyway just to hear what they had to say, left a message and haven't spoken to a real person yet. 1-866-933-6013 ext 124

I got a call that showed up on my Caller ID as from Premium Gifting 708-248-7779 today. But when I answered the phone the man said, "Sorry, wrong number". How did he know he had a wrong number? He didn't ask me anything! It made me very suspicious that they were trying to see if mine was a good number so they could do a reverse search on it and get my personal information.

Got the same message.   When I saw all the post about Chicago, the land of Obama, I knew it was a scam

Your logic is impeccable. My call came from Alaska, the land of Palin -- a scam call for sure.

I received a call from Premium Gifting and they left a message stating that I had won one of the four top prizes, one of which was a new car.  The number they gave me to call was 866-933-6013, ext. 124.  I looked up Premium Gifting and saw enough about them to know to stay away.  Thank you for providing this service.

premiumgifting was only registered ~1 month ago on 05/31/2011 to to a domain proxy which is a favorite tactic of scammers. Stay away from premiumgifting.

Yes, Mine was from Alaska as well - I'm sure Palin is behind it.  Probably wants to see her bridge to nowhere.

I also received 3 messages on my voice machine  requesting me to call about a gift I had definitely won, but I had to show up at a hotel in Rockland, Maine (2 hrs away) tomorrow or Saturday to claim my prize.  She also said something about a scratch ticket and then changed her story to a claim number I needed to write down.  I told her I was going away for the holiday weekend and would not be attending.  The prize was a car, a trip, or a $400 television.  It all soundy so "hokey".  I hope that by calling back they weren't able to get any information from me.  I never gave my name.  You are right, nothing is ever free.  What a racket.
