Just got a call but did not answer and no message left.  Caller ID had BBBS PICKUP which I assume stands for Big Brothers and Big Sisters?

called but never got into my voicemail

Calls rings until answering machine picks up.  Never says anything just aggravates.  REVERSE NUMBER SAYS IT BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS.  As a result they are on my do not do business with.

Looked this up and this is what came up - Big Brother Big Sister Foundation turns gently used goodsinto treasure.  And what greater treasure exists than the future of a child? BBBSF collects used clothing  & household items converts them into cash and gives 100% of the profits to mentoring programs supporting more than 16,000 "Littles" & "Bigs" across Eastern MA & Southern NH.  Another telemarketer, even though I am on a do not call list.

Got several calls.  Getting tired of them calling. BBS Pickup is now blocked. Will never give them anything because they are so annoying.  Stupid charities keep calling. Never will give to those who call on a phone.  Could be a scam.  Do a bulk mailing.  I only look at mail and then make a donation ONLY IF IS OK WITH BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

Just got a call a few minutes ago that caller ID said was "BBBS PICKUP".  My answering machine was OFF and they hung up after 3 rings.  I suspect these scammers are the same ones calling themselves "FAV" which called me a few minutes before "BBBS" did.

In either case, best to not answer at all.

Nothing, just hung up.

Called again.  Who are these people?  Same thing as before.  Just hung up.

I give to Good Will and AMVets. Blocked the call.

Spatz, block the number.  If you don't have a phone with call blocking capabilities invest in a call blocker.

Atta boy!  Don't let the horses bottoms get to you.  There are stand alone call blocking devices as well as call blocking phones.  My call blocker blocks 5000 numbers.  They are great.  :-)

Big Brothers etc. calls, no one there. Nuisance. I have also called back, just now, and said we do not want the call.

Calls almost everyday...  no message, machine answers and they hang up.   can't called at least 20 times.

Paid cold callers for BBBS

This isn't a telemarketer, as those are companies trying to sell you something. This falls in the category of charities, which are NOT bound by the do not call rules. They DO have to honor your request to be put on their do not call list though, assuming it is a legitimate charity and not a scammer.
