Received a message on my cell phone from someone stating their name was Donald Miller stating something about a gov't grant. I did not apply for any grant.

A Pakistani accent informing me that I have been chosen to receive a U.S. Government grant for paying my taxes on time and not having a criminal record. I think he nearly stroked when I asked him to give me all the details he could. Just finished sending an email to my employer. I work for DHS and with over 100thousand complaints of people who have fallen for this scam every bit of admissible evidence helps.

Download a recording app or use speakerphone tell them you are recording so you can remember your luckiest day. Let them give the full speach. DO NOT GIVE OUT PERSONAL IMFORMATION. Contact your local FBI office, inform them you have a recording & that there is an active investigation. Burn to a CD & forward with a letter to the ASAC in your area outlining attempted wire fraud.
Help put these people in prison as the money is usually used to support terrorism or drug trafficking.

Caller left a digital voicemail stating they were from the department of treasury and I could face legal action if call not returned.. left this number to call back and "talk to a federal agent"

Got a call , caller said it was IRS and  I owed $750. and if I did not pay they would see me in court!

A person called and said they were from IRS and that I owed $750.00 and if I did not pay they would see me
 in court. I told them to mail me the paper work and I would be happy to pay what  I owed. which is nothing!

ITS A SCAM

I got the same type of phone call, except they asked for my mother in law, she died three years ago.   The dummy still tried to go through his fraud, informing me police would be at my door in 45 minutes.  I told him no they wont, this is a scam.  Don't call me anymore, unless you think I need another laugh.

I called them back and the guy answered "IRS" asked for their badge number and full name, he said his name was Sam Johnson from the IRS with a heavy Indian accent, he asked why I needed the information, I told him this was for a ongoing investigation about ISIS and that I needed him to stay on the phone for another 5 seconds so I could get a location on him.  He hung up on me, called me back and I answered Special Agent Jeff and hung up on me, I called him back and he told me to stop calling him

Got same call saying IRS and the was last attempt to reach me before federal charges are filed against me.

Had the same call! Said his name was Eric from the IRS that my taxes were incorrectly filed and that i could send him money. Scary thing is he had all of my info! SS #, DOB and full name with address.

Called to tell me I would be "brought up to the magistrate on Federal charges" claiming I owe money to the IRS, I am so over these types of calls!!!

I've gotten 3 calls from this number saying this is my last warning.  I would come before a Magistrate or Federal Court.  I should call back immediately.  Yeah right!  I'll get right on that!

A disturbing computer recording came on when I answered a call from 731-481-0480. It stated that I owed money to the IRS and to call back the same number which just called me in order to hear more about the issue.
I called the same number back and an indian accented man answered and said he was from the IRS and that I owed $1500.00 from my taxes between 2011 to 2015 being incorrectly filed. I told him to mail me the paperwork, as the address he had on file for me was from over 3 and a half years ago, and I would be happy to look it over.  He then asked me to pay, and I said I will not until I see the breakdown of where these "back charges" are coming from. He then said if I did not pay he will go ahead and send my information to Washington DC and they will then process the information through debt collectors and I will have to appear in court. I said ok, maybe they will have my correct address, Ass!

Received that one today too. Wanted me to go wire them $300 of the $730 I owed right away....or a warrant was to be issued. Said he was calling from the US Dept of Crimes Division...whatever...

Recorded message saying this is final attempt to contact me regarding federal income tax. If ignored, would be brought before a magistrate and/or federal grand jury.

I got an automated call stating it was the IRS and I needed to pay up or face federal charges. They did not use my name or any other identifying information. They said it was the final attempt to reach me.

They called saying they where from irs and had sent notices three times that I owed irs $799 and that I would be picked up by police arrested and stay in jail for 76 hours before meeting with a judge. Gave agent name as Eric Martin. I'm disabled and have not even worked in the years they where claiming
