calls and hangs up

just received a call and it was automated asking to speak with me. It knew my name, i just pressed for for wrong number and hope they dont call back. I do not have anything in collections.

says they are a "outsourcing company" calling on behalf of ebay.... then they want me to give them my address and social security number. not sure what type of scam it is, but no way im giving someone calling me any of that info.

I got a call too.  Number belongs to Hess Corporation.  It's an oil exploration company.  Either caller id is spoofed or somebody at Hess is dialing wrong numbers.

Convergent Res automated asking for me with selections of 1,2,3,4,5 if you want your number  to be removed permanent, then enter the number you want removed I put it in and it gave me a confirmation number . Look out for them a holes

I don't  know  who it is that  is calling  me   but  it  not  a oil Co. I have  460 ac.of oil land

My first name is Jennifer (I've *never* gone by Jenny), and I've been married ten years.  Just got a robocall from this number, and the only reason I picked up is that I thought it might be the guys who are gonna deliver the dishwasher I just bought.  Anyway, the robocall asked for Jenny Maidenname, when I've gone by Jennifer Marriedname for the last decade.  I pressed 4 for "wrong number, please take me off your list."  We'll see if it works.

Convergent is correct - saying they are calling on behalf of paypal.

autocall saying they are collecting for a debt.  Caller id gave one number, the robot gave another to call back.  I don't owe anybody anything; it is obviously a SCAM!

Calls and left partial robotic message saying Press a number...then hangs up

Caller I.D. said "Hess Corp." I answered, it was a recorded voice asking for a person I have never heard of.

says they are a "outsourcing company" said they were looking for 2 different family's, my name was one of them but told them they had wrong number and to remove this number... If they were a reliable company they would of had full name to identify.

Collection agency (Convergent Resources) on behalf of PayPal. Calling my work number. How did they get my work number; for PayPal doesn't have it. This is a SCAM!

I receive a call at work from them everyday. The call triggers my voice mail but no message is left. I called them from a different number and talked to a very polite gentleman who checked into the names associated with my work number. There were two, both not me, and he went ahead and removed the names from my number. Both of those names I have received collection calls in the past. We'll see if the calling stops.....

It absolutely is not Hess Corporation.  I almost answered it one time as I used to work for Amerada Hess, a prior name for Hess Corp.

Received on cell phone. Didn't answer-no message left
