Just called.....didn't say anything....called back and said "magic jack customer is unavailable please leave a message" it's almost 10:30 at night!!!! This is CRAZY!

Do not return the call.  IRS scammers, most likely from India or Pakistan.  They are spoofing local numbers.

Total scam.  Originates in either India or Pakistan.   Block and ignore.   DO NOT RETURN THE CALL!

IRS does not initiate contacts by phone.  US mail only.   IRS does not file lawsuits.   Court action, if any is handled by the DOJ and all parties are entitled to legal assistance if it is a criminal matter.  But--tax disputes are for the most part civil matters.  90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively.  IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. IRS does not threaten to involve local law enforcement or to arrest you for nonpayment of federal taxes.  IRS has no powers of arrest.    If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job.  IRS does not cold call anyone and demand immediate payment of  money.  IRS does not ask for financial information over the phone.   IRS does not accept Green card money paks for payment in any case.  No one is prosecuted for ordinary tax disputes. IRS has absolutely no authority over anyone's professional license. Professional licensing is handled by state governments.  Yes, levies on property to satisfy an existing tax obligation do occur, but only after a very long period of negotiation. And yes, liens are placed on individuals but  usually after a lot of negotiation and a failure to reach a settlement.    All determinations of tax liability are subject to appeals.  All  contacts by the IRS are initiated by US mail.

Received a few calls from this number.  I finally answered when I got a call at 2:15 am. It was an automatic message saying " Hello world" then either " Good Bye" or " The bomb" It was a woman's voice with an accent. Very odd and I shouldn't have even answered.

Just got the same message when I answered. Very strange!

Today and yesterday this number keeps calling. On the caller id his name is Jorge Ballard. We never answer. Seems to be a scheme if his name keeps changing.

Received two calls today @ 12:40 PM & 5:20 PM... three calls in two days.  They've changed the scam a bit... recording states it's my property taxes they want to help me with.  LOLOLOLOLOLOL!  Scam should be one of the "call type" options... because that's exactly what this is.

Fifth time they called and left a message I called back  I told the person who answered the phone to place me on their do not call list.  They said "What is that?", in broken English.  I explain I have a legal right to ask them to stop calling me. He says that I called them.  I said I did not except to have them stop called me constantly and when they call it is not a live person so you cannot tell them to not call.  Then he asks for my number and my full name.  I told him if he calls again I will contact the state attorney general.  He then apologizes and says they will not call back.

2nd time they've called and left a voicemail about property tax BS. The woman had a thick foreign accent. Blocked the number.

Officer FullOfSh*t called to say  I owed back taxes. Told him he was full of Sh*t. Got mad. Said he will send an officer to arrest me right now. I told him to bring him on, I still have room in the back yard for more bodies. He hung up. Scammer through and through.
