I got a call today at 6:45 CDT from  the phone number 713-350-8670 (Caller ID says Houston TX) The guy said his name was Bill Clark, with Process Servers in regards to a "civil complaint" telling me to call 888-350-5995 for a "time sensitive matter" and that an officer was going to serve me.  Then the very last part of the message, the guy has the nerve to tell me "good luck" before he hung up. What gives these people the right to lie-- not only about who they are but why theyre calling?  

Do we have any idea who they REALLY are?

Caller said heath was looking for an ex- husband I  divorced thirty years ago. He said he had important legal documents to serve him. When I asked more questions he said he had important papers for my ex. I don't know if this is legit or not.

it pisses me off when they say they are looking for my ex, i just got the call.. they lie cheat and do what ever they can to gain your trust..

Somehow they get access to your phone contacts, called my sister first, then me, & my wife.  I left a message for Roger Sherman Bureau Chief of the FCC Wireless Telecommunications at 202-418-0600 hopefully if enough people complain they will investigate them.

Received a phone call from this number yesterday, left a message stating they were calling me about a "compllain" that has been filed and that they are able to serve me with court action, including notifying my employer. Gave me a 888 number which was automated. Not sure who these people are but don't like being threatened. Called the number back and got automated message that no one was abvailible to take the call and leave message, which was full. This is some company calling me about something bogus, possible debt collector

I got a call from this number saying they had court documents for a relative of mine named Gary Numan. I explained I don't know anyone by that name and she proceeded to ask for my address. After telling her several times I don't know anyone by that name she hung up on me. Weirdest call I have ever received and I am a bit concerned.

I got from this number with a female voice identifying herself as Lucy. She was looking for my mother. She stated there were documents to be served to her place of employment and that she needed to have proper identification to ensure accurate delivery. My mother has been retired for some years now. There was an 888 number to call and a file identification number. This seems bogus.

Someone called me from 713 538-8670 telling me im being suid for a complaint. They even proceeded to giving me a docket number and her name was even more bogus Brenda Tanner!!! She wanted to know if the person they are trying to serve will be at there home to receive civil law forms because they are being served. I said there is no one by that name here and she was really aggressive over the phone didn't curse but her tone was definately rude. After I told her there was no one by that name and she aggressively told me i did not say that! Listen!!!! Like really rude and I hung up because I felt I was being mistreated for who knows what I did. However, as I hung up because I was shook up wondering who in the world would sue me? Over a complaint? I mean the only thing I thought of was that it has to be a scam!!! So I googled information and the number and here I am. Tip for whoever experiences such an awful event; make the effort to go to your court and ask if in fact the docket number you have received from a bogus caller is legit. That way you have a piece of mind and sleep better at night this is [***]!!!

Smme thing, got a call from this number earlier today but they won't give me details of the case. Said it could be a ticket or 'child custody' haha right away I knew it was fraud. Using scare tactics. How pathetic. These vultures need to be stopped legally from harassment.

I got the same message stating that I had a debt and they would help me out of the court claim, they even gave me a claim number, 79428. When I asked what CNA was he started asking me questions like who I was, my name etc.
I told him he had called me and he should know all the info he was asking about. The name of the company is CNA, (Coastline and Associates. I told him that this sounds like a scam and he hung up.

Got a message today from this number with the same message as previous writers have recently written.  They called my daughter as well.  I have a feeling this is over a collection from long ago and they didn't like that I told them not to contact me (which is legal to do).  I will be reporting them to http://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/#debt-collection.  This harassment has to stop.

This number called today, claiming the person closest and dearest to me in my life.. who passed away... Had some complaint. I didnt answer but the woman sounded very aggressive... Being a Soldier and missing out on the death of my grandma due to being away.. then for someone to call and say this [***].. is upsetting. [***] these people. I wiah I could find them.

This morning, I received a call from "Penny" at an alleged process server in Orange County, saying they had papers to serve to "Judith Lincoln." I wondered about this since the CID said Houston, TexASS. (OK, it said Houston, TX.) Anyway, I asked "Penny," Orange County where? She kept saying Orange County. It took a while, but I finally got her to understand I was asking what state she is in. She said California. She didn't know what the papers are regarding, but wanted to speak with Judith. I told her there is no Judith Lincoln here.She asked if I know Judith. I told her I don't. "Penny" said OK, and rang off. Now, the intriguing part. A few minutes ago I received a call from a female at 618.613.4378 asking for "Geneva Lincoln." That number has some association with Glass Mountain Capital in Illinois. I said, "No Geneva Lincoln here."
She said OK, and rang off. Perhaps, this will be the end of it.

They called my Portland, OR number today and left a message that they were also looking for Judith Lincoln. It was a man who called me however.

Same scam as above - asked for family member, left file number, said to call them because they have complaint to file.

Same here. Somebody called my number and was looking for a Hanna Brown / Anna Brown. And I said that I don't know anybody by that name. She said she was looking for that person because there is a lawsuit against her. She then tried to scare me by reporting me as non compliant for the courts if ever I knew Hanna/Anna. And then I proceeded to ask about the lawsuit like who's the judge, which court (district or federal circuit, etc.). Then there was a long silence and then I guess she hanged up. I tried calling back the number and guess what. It was a Magic Jack number.

Received a call stating they were a process serving agency and asked about the name of my ex-husband from 30 years ago.  Then they gave me a time between nine and noon where someone could be available to pick up papers. I politely inform them that they had a wrong number and hung up. Felt very creepy.

Some woman just called me from phone number (713)538-8670. She left me a message and identified herself as Selina Cruz, talking about there being a civil complaint for me in court. She left me a file number too. I tried calling back the number, there was no answer and it wasn't gonna let me leave a message. I know it's a scam cause I don't owe nobody nothing. Last speeding ticket I got was in 1998. Got no collections, nothing. I wish I could a hold of this fool Selina on the phone, I'll tear her a new page
