This company has called me several times on my cell phone over a period of two months now. They leave the same message every time they call, stating that I need to call them about something concerning my bank account. They also tell me to refer to my case number, which is ridiculous since I have no clue who these people are and have never been in contact with them previously. I have never answered a call nor spoken to anybody, since it seems extremely fraudulent.

I have received several calls from 713-568-9161 claiming to be from a law firm called Colson, Gamble. There is no such law firm in Houston, TX by that name. The number does not check out as legit. I is definitely a scam. They claim in the recorded message that I must contact them immediately concerning an item returned by my bank. That is ridiculous; I have nothing returned by my bank! No legitimate firm, legal or collection would use a recorded message to call you if there really was a legal problem. I reported them to the FBI fraud unit via email.

I have been getting these rediculous phone calls from 713-586-9161 for about a month now. They call my cell phone saying they are with Colson Gamblen and Associates that they are calling for____(but never say a name) Then it goes on to say that they are calling regarding a returned item from my bank, that me or my counsel need to call back a 1877 number regarding file # blah blah blah, but never give a file number. This is getting rediculous because they are now calling my home number too. How they have linked the two numbers together is beyond me, but I just want people to know that I also did call the 1-877 number back and got another recording. It is obvious that this is a scam because my bank would have notified me by mail that I had an item that didn't go throught. I don't live in Houston so why would I have a returned item from my bank there. I just don't want to see anyone believe these scams. I almost got scammed.

Supposedly I have a returned item from my bankt and referr to such and such case number when I called and that it would be in my best interest to call the number.They then rattle off another phone number. Definately a scam I don't have a bank account.

Exact same experience as stated above.  So how do we stop it!

i have been recieving calls from this number very frequently telling me that they are calling about an item that was returned from my bank and that it is in my best interest to call them back so they can give me a code number. I would like these calls to stop and i would like to find out who they really are.

Same message about returned bank item, I know it's a scam since I have bounce proof checking and rarely write paper checks my bank says they have no returned items and this is a scam
