it is an indian guy that i cant understand and he is telling me that i am listed on my daughters contract, she lives 500 miles away from me, Dont have a clue who this is

A man with and accent that leads me to believe he is from India called our company looking for one of our employees. He said his name was John Smith, left the number and when I asked what company he was with he said, Woods Law Firm.
I assume it is a collection agency.

I have recieved calls from this guy John Smith. He says he is from "Woods Law firm".  I called them and spoke with a guy named Ray, he is either Indian or Arabic.  Background noise sounds like telemarketing or collections but not sure.  I'm doing further investigation because they claim I took out a loan online and I'm being sued.  They are not telling the truth because I never did such a thing.  They have called my work and my friends.  I dont know where they got that information.  They claim the loan company hired them to collect $3200.00.

Please be very careful if these people call you I believe its a scam to get money.

Exact same thing happened to  me. A man with an Indian accent left a voice mail and when I called back he said we took out a loan online and they need me to pay it back or they would call my friends and family. Since I know this did not happen this has to be a scam. Don't fall for this. If they call tell them to send what they have to you in writing as is your rights under the fair debt credit act. We did not get anywhere as I hung up on the scammer. I will be reporting this number to the state of Tallahassee as a scam attempt. You have to stand up to these people or they will scare you into paying something you do not owe.

This number has come into my cell phone 2 times this morning, but I'm not answering it.  I had a feeling it wasn't anything I wanted to be bothered with. Very irritating when you're trying to work. Since it's clearly not going to stop anytime soon, I will program my phone to silence it.   I appreciate the previous posts.
