I have had to block to numbers from the same idiots.  I don't answer and the worst part is they keep trying to get someone to answer.  All i can say is don't fall for this scam.  Second is the person that is calling should be smart enough to know that the IRS office i deal with would not be in Texas and second of all if your impersonation of a cop a cop wouldn't be calling me from Texas either.  Third is impersonation of either Cop or IRS is against the federal law with very stiff fines and imprisonment.  My best advice is get a life and stop being a low life scammer.

I received 3 calls from this number 713-931-5197 yesterday 1/12/15. I did not answer the first and he left a voice mail claiming to be from the IRS and stating there was a tax crime investigation going on with my name and that is was very important that I or my attorney call him back right away.
The second call, I was pissed after hearing the message I knew it was a scam so I answered and told him do not call me again, and that I had reported his # to the police.
Third call he left another voice mail stating again that it was urgent that I call him back. What a Joke!

I must say it is sad to see the amount of people he is harassing and I am going to report his scam and hope that he gets caught and stops bothering innocent people while they are trying to work.

I got the exact same messages today. 2 calls and 2 voicemails reporting the same things. Where are you going to report your call to? I'm looking online as to where I can report this scammer and I don't know where to start. Sorry to hear you are also getting harassed by this low life!!

Report these idiots to the FTC. Just google it
I doubt anything will happen. Odds are they aren't even in the US

I have received two calls claiming to be office Jason Clark and officer Eric Foster with the IRS claiming I owe money and have been audited and am being sued by the IRS.  When I pressed for details, including more phone and address information or anything in writing, they stopped talking and just hung up.  Scam scam scam!

I just received a call from this number for the second time today. I let it go to voice mail both times. Officer Jason Clark with a bonafide badge number and very heavy middle eastern sounding accent was very vague with why he was calling. Never once mentioned who he was calling on behalf of nor did he mention my name at any time in the message. He just kept saying "For you or your representing lawyer".

Apparently they don't know you are actually required to be present at the time of your audit.

They are monitoring this website. I mentioned in my last post they never mentioned my name. They called back just  few minutes ago this time Steve Smith from the IRS made the call but he sounded remarkably similar to Jason Clark. This time he said he was from the IRS. Time to contact the IRS and the FTC.

Waste of time to call back, plus it means you will continue to get calls from the same number and from other numbers. They now have your phone number on their "active" list.

There are too many of them for you to stop this way. Humans aren't even placing the calls: they're most likely robo-dialed.

Ignoring/blocking is the best way to get rid of them, and posting every call here will help others to steer clear.

I have received about 4 or 5 messages on my machine claiming to be Revenue Canada, and that they have a warrant out for my arrest. At first they started claiming it was because I didnt file my taxes, and it was a voice automated message. But this morning I received another voice mail from "OFFICER PATRICK COOPER" with an East Indian accent (which Patrick Cooper seems like a fairly European sounding name first off). He didn't direct his message to my name personally, and didn't introduce himself until the very end of his very hostile message. He did not give a badge number. However he gave a different contact number that stated above- which is scarily similar to the real Canadian Revenue Agency toll free number in BC. The numbers from two separate calls are as follows:
    1-844-765-3872, 1-613-800-7431
Is there NO ONE who can find this jacka$$ and throw him in jail?? Every time I get one of these messages my heart stops and my stress levels rise. This is not a decent way to start the evening after work!!
