714-000-0000

I belong to the do not call list, maybe thats why this number shows up only as 714. I didn't answer it, but would like to know what or who it is.

It is a bill collector by the name of Phillips and Cohen asst's, it is not a law firm and is under investigation for harrassment and there are several law suits against them.

This caller repeatedly calls me every 5 minutes or so for several hours. I have not received any collection agency notices in the mail from any of my creditors. They leave no voicemail message. I have also had several calls that state NO Caller ID. Its very annoying getting these calls on my cell phone especially when I am driving or at a doctors or other type of appointment.

THEY KEEP CALLING ME AND DONT LEAVE A MESSAGE. I WONT TOLERATE THIS TYPE OF NONSENSE. EITHER LEAVE A MESSAGE OR STOP CALLING.

This is a collection agency called Phillips & Cohen Associates, trying to collect a debt of a dead relative.  

They call and say, "May I speak to the person handling the affairs of the late ________ Weasle?"  They asked who I was, and I said, "That's none of your business."  They then got very angry and hostile on the phone, so I hung up on them.

I did not co-sign for my dead relative's debts so I am not responsible.

When they call on my cell phone, it just says "714" but when they call on my landline phone it says "unavailable."  So, now I just don't answer the phone when I see either of those on my caller ID.

It's Hyundai Motor Finance Company

Call claiming that my auto warranty was about to expire. I hung up before the end of the first sentence.

It just called me I picked it up and there's no answer so I hang up
then I got an empty voicemail

Why don't we report it to consumer affairs or local police department if this number keeps calling? I will do so if it calls again. If we all do report, we'll know whose this number belongs to. Please do so.

No phone company issues 000-0000 as a callable number.

It's just a number masking system.  We get calls all the time from this number from the HR department that has been coordinating my partner's new hire.  I looked it up to make sure it was them and got this page.

I received a test call from the City of Anaheim's AlertOC from this number. Seems odd they wouldn't use a real phone number for their emergency alert system!

If it is a collection agency, it makes sense.  When my dad died, I paid all of his bills except one.  It was a credit card that belongs to a really moronic company called Diner's Club.  I wasn't on the card.  My attorney told them I owed nothing.  They didn't leave a message.  If they're that anxious to "collect a debt, you think they'd tell you why they're calling.

This call came from Tustin Police about a missing girl. Do no know why they use a bogus number. They did however leave a message about the missing girl.

Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed... you can still file a complaint here to fight back against unethical telemarketers.
