This person called me a few times. And I was in the middle of a phone call with a friend and this person would not stop calling. So i blocked it of course. If u are receiving any calls from this number, u might as well block it because they won't stop calling.

I've seen the number on my caller ID but today I spoke to an Indian male who asked for my late husband. He slammed the phone down when I said he died 2 years ago. Now I'm blocking the number.

Called this morning and left a bit of gibberish only voicemail. No idea how they got the number.

Have been getting calls continuously every 5-10 minutes. Told them there is no one by that name. The guy said f*** u motherf***er than hung up. Every time I ever answer for 1 minutes it costs 10 minutes on my phone plan. Either they ask about a loan or ask for someone I don't even know then become obscene when I say to take me off the list. Numbers that call me include:

Well is there a reason other than your phone is ringing that you have to answer?  Because i never pick up calls from numbers that I don't recognize.  Problem solved, don't answer no more lost minutes.

This a scam being sent to gullible patrons as a "loan approval" letter thru email.  Basically you are approved for and amount of between 2000-2500 dollars.   You call them and they say they need to verify that you have the money for the first payment so you need to go get a Green Dot card and load the first payment on it and send it to them.  Oops, they just scammed you out of a couple hundred bucks and you ain't gonna see dime one of the "payday loan" they promised you.  The loan application has the heading of ACE Cash Express (*without any of the REAL ACE Cash Express' corporate information*).   Come on folks.  How can you be approved for a loan that YOU'VE NEVER APPLIED FOR?  Oh and just for giggles and laughs you- the scammed one- sent them your banking information and personal ID with the fake application.  DAMN!!  Sucks to be you....RIGHT!

By the way, the same scam with the same damn letter is being sent out by email using the name ADVANCE AMERICA Payday Loans.   Signed by the same [***] that signs the ACE Cash Express scam letter.

PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THIS [***]!

Down load and install the Mr. Number app for your android smartphone.  Then add the offending number to the block list.  problem solved.  Mr. Number app is free and it WORKS!  I have it on my phone and have been using it for almost a year.  We may not be able to stop telemarketers from calling once but the second time ain't happening.  By the way, most of the telemarketers are using VoIP (Vonage, Ooma, Majic Jack etc) for their calls.  This is why they call from so many different numbers and you can't normally call them back on the original number they use because it's computer generated and not a working phone number.
