So sick of all these scamming solar and home improvement DNC-violating scammers calling.  2:58 pm June 1.  Will report to NoMo

The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) has just ruled that the telephone companies can and should provide free blockers within their systems to block these scammers and con artists.

There is an effort being made by Consumers Union (they publish Consumer Reports). The effort is a petition to the phone companies responsible (at last!) for these phone calls to offer free scam blockers.

The telephone companies are dragging their feet. They do not screen scammers and are making money off their harassing telephone Robocalls to consumers.

Signing the petition is sure to help. Consumers Union has clout because of the numbers.

Please go to www.EndRobocalls.org to end the madness, harassment and scams.

Also, contact your Congressman. Congress should address this issue since it is a federal problem.

Caller said that he was employed by the government for this government program.  Government gave him my phone number.  The government wants to install solar on my house and they will pay for it.

Just another scammer.

I said I was not interested and asked to be removed from calling list, caller continued to try and sell product and refused to remove my number after repeating it five times, they finally just hung up..

And this was to my cell phone!!

The caller, V7143020357n* It showed as ID on our phone ), used 14-202-0359 to call us @ 15:06,10.09.2015. I was not home. My wife didn't answer unwanted call according FTC suggestion. I returned the call hiding my number, I heard a lady message:" I am sorry, the feature you entered is not for this service". I heard too many " sorry, similar message. The caller started to use 714-202-0359 to call public around 06.01.2015.

They called me twice offering solar, I asked him will you pay for my solar, he said government will pay. I told him not to call here again. Need to block it.

ID said Orange Co.  Wanted to sell a solar system.  Now blocked--wish my phone system would handle  more than 25 blocked numbers.  I have to rotate one number off to add the latest robocaller.

When we start dragging these robocalling scum bags out in the street and hanging them; then we'll have OUR phones quiet.

Called 4 days in a row to ask if we want solar and asked to be removed every time and they call again

If you work at that call center, quit ASAP.  You are a criminal; and we are coming for you.

Petitions are a goox idea but I've heard online petitions are invalid...

After 8 days of calling my sons cell phone, I answered it.  The caller said it was a credit card company and asked if I wanted a lower interest rate.  I was transferred to a male who spoke with a heavy accent.  When I asked him to remove this number,  he started to cuss me out!!  I then picked up my whistle and blew it into the phone.  I sure hope he had a nice day!

The person trying to sell me Solar did not understand 'NO'. i told him to remove our number off his call list. He said NO not until he understands why we don't want to save money. I blocked the number and want to report this number so that i do not have to deal with these calls int he future
