7142043109 called my new home number twice in one day asking for a Jacob. Within 5 minutes of the second call, the same number called my cell phone. My cell number has a different last name than my home number. I tried to call the 714 number back, and got a message that sent me in circles and finally hung up on me.

Well my house phone says this is from Anaheim CA which is funny cause I live in WA state... No one is there when I answer. I answered cause I have family there...its irritating cause this is the first day they called and they called twice today. Hopefully no one is there next time I answer cause they wont want to talk to me. :)

Received miss calls few times for the past one week. Didn't leave any messages. Guess they get my # from online vacation package in CA.

Received this call in late afternoon.  Caller said that the call was a "mistake".   I repeatedly hit the # key.

exactly the same message as "Howard" reported above.

i then googled the number and found this thread.

Called while in town. Left voice message "We apologize, we called your number in error."

They left a message to call back to lower your interest rates on credit card, they don't tell you who the message is for or who they are.  It showed up on caller ID as RCMI.  Scam

i have received two calls today.  one from 714-204-3109 .  recorded voice said "we apologize, we have reached your number in error"  the other was from bluegreen resort407-738-9939.  recorded voice said "goodbye".

this call came despite being on no call list.  no calls means no calls!

I'm on the no-call list too. It's worthless. This number called and a recorded voice said "We apologize, we have reached your number in error" and hung up. Yup, very annoying.

A voice came on and said " We have reached your number in error." Sounded like a recording, but then again, it was eerily like a live person.
