- ROBERT| 4 repliesI got a summons to appear in court from this company today at my job. The calls started last week, I got 2 or 3 messages then this week an officer showed up to my job with a summons for a court date next month. They should've left a message on my voicemail with regards to what the call was about. I tried calling them today and now they won't give me any info, they're just saying I need to follow the instructions on the summons or forward the summons to my attorney. I don't have an attorney...

- Slim replies to ROBERTIn order to help you, we need the details from the document with which you were "served". However, you need not give us your name. All the details are now "public information", so you can freely tell us.
1. Was the document handed you by a person with appropriate ID, or did you get it as an email / message?
2. Give us the details at the top of the document:
Court name and location, the name of the judge, the plaintiff's attorney's name (and Bar number if possible), the name of the company or person that is suing you, the date you are supposed to appear, and possibly a docket number.
3. Tell us the details of your supposed violation, but do NOT give us YOUR ID info.
Can you do that, to prove your statement, or did I ask for too much information?
(If you fail to reply, there would be a strong suspicion that you are merely shilling for the subject company)

Please reply to this post, to let us know you read it, or have taken suitable actions to protect yourself. - Nimrod® replies to ROBERTFirst you say you "got 2 or 3 messages" and then you say "They should've left a message on my voicemail". The two statements contradict each other.
Personally, I think you are a pre-emptive shill, trying to spread FUD before other people start reporting your scamming calls. - B-Edwards replies to ROBERTSummons or a letter?
And from what company?
When you say "an officer showed up to my job with a summons", you mean a police officer?
Did you ever get a notice of the Debt via US Mail? Phone calls, emails, faxes, messages left for you are NOT legal notice.
Please post back! © - CWG40| 3 repliesIf you call that number you get a robo-greeter saying what sounds like "PAS". Notorious scammers. Pretend to be lawyers, make
endless threats of civil actions. Long history on 800notes. They often use that shill technique "I was served" but never give out
any concrete information.
This is all I have on them right now.

- CWG40 replies to ROBERTSame old shill technique (I was served) you guys as PAS and related companies always use. Do you think we are stupid? Just another Orange County "buffalo bully".
- Nimrod® replies to CWG40And, as usually turns up with outfits like this, that address in Temecula is a UPS Store, the apparently favored "virtual office" of scammers all over the country.
- Cody replies to CWG40| 1 replyThere's a case # with a court date and time, what happens if I don't show up? This should only be civil, right?

Please reply to this post, to let us know you read it, or have taken suitable actions to protect yourself. - Rick & Wife| 1 replywe got a summons from this company with this ph# attached to the name and a cas# 37-2015-0325267-SC-SC-CTL... it's obvious a civil complaint, I think. Do I have to show up? I've never heard of them, so I assume they represent someone else. I haven't called them yet.
- Caller: got some papers
- B-Edwards replies to Rick & WifeSee the post above yours from Slim.
It is VERY likely this is a debt scammer at work. Be careful, these are real crooks. Also see the post from CWG40.
