Called and said something about property owner, which is not me, scam!!

They left a message and said for me or the property to call and I only had 24 hours! But they dont even say who they are....it's balony

SPAM.  Said something about me owning my apartment building and my parents house

They called my father and scared him to death. Said there was a problem and they needed to speak to the homeowner. I told him it was a scam< these people need to be stopped.

scam, called about a property I rented 6 years ago.... ridiculous.

I am from Boston Massachusetts.
Someone called James Evans has being calling me. He said I owe and need to pay $900. or I will go to jail. He said I must pay, but only with my debit card. He's very rude n has no respect. He told me he will send someone to kill me if I don't pay.
The problem is I owe American Web Loan  some money, but how does he know so much. He calls my job and threatens to kill me.
Please stop these people.

They're called several times, I didn't answer, stating they needed to talk to the home owner and I needed to call James Evans at 714-380-5383.They said I had 24hrs to call them back and left the time of the call and gave me a reference #. I never authorize anyone to call me in reference to my property.      BEWARE!!!!

These people have been calling me for months. First they were saying it was about my old work address, now I've moved to a new city and they call about my home address. Leaving messages to call James Evans with this Cali number and I live in Florida. I do owe some creditors but from what I've read, this isn't one of them. How do they keep finding out where I live though?

Just got a block call and left a voicemail message saying a property owner. I don't even own property I rent. I don't evening have collection papers and I have stuff that is 7 or 8yrs old.

Message left said I needed to call in 24 hours. I need to call James Evans office. A PO box number was mentioned. I live in a rural area so no PO box for me. Not sure what the scam is but I call BS on this.

This James Evans called me extremely rude and threatening as all hell.  My property was purchased legally with a real estate attorney and title company research.  All is clean.  These jerks need to be stopped.  I blocked them and still came through under a #32 from Belgium!  These guys are desperate.

I had a missed call and voicemail from them earlier so I did a little online research and found info that it's a scam. Blocked both the number they called from earlier and the one they left me in the voicemail to call back.  So when I go ANOTHER call from the same area code, I picked it up and they were looking for my husband.  I asked what they wanted and the guy, sounding all stern, said it was a legal matter and that my husband needed to have his attorney call the number (714-380-5383) and speak to Alexis Anderson.

Then I asked if this was a collections matter and he said he didn't know, that it was a legal matter, and I told him this is a well-documented scam that you can find information about on the Internet.  He said, well, this is PAS, and I said, "oh you mean Personal Asset Systems? yeah, that's well-documented too. Don't call back."

He hung up.

These people have been harassing me for well over a month!!!  threatening litigation, being nasty, you name it!!!   i've called them on their crap and told them that i'm well aware of all of my debts and am in good standing.  CREDIT KARMA!!!  seriously, it's all at your fingertips nowadays.  They are trying to collect on an account that settled over 5 years ago!  How can i go after THEM for harassment?  any ideas???

I have received several threat calls from James Evans 714 380 5383.  Last call 5 min ago, so I looked up this number online.  Thought today's call was very strange....he stated I had 3 options to pay.....2300 in 8 installments, or 1700 in 4 payments or he could do a hardship one time payment of 613???  So what can be done to report him?  Can we prove he is scamming a lot of people?????

Received a voicemail yesterday on 10/02/15 from this number. Decided to look it up, since I had no idea what they were calling about. Sounds like this James Evans, is a bully & scammer! He said I had to call back within 24 hours, before further action was taken. Mentioned something about my property and left a reference number. What can be done to prevent idiots like this from harassing and taking advantage of those who fall victim to their scams?!?! I believe he also tried calling me from a #32??? Never in my life have I seen a # like that show up on my caller ID. This  scammer NEEDS to be stopped, a long with all the other collection scammers.

Received a call asking the homeowner or attorney to call them at 714-929-2790 they have concerns about the property. Stated that the message  was proof of an attempt  before further proceedings. Called ID on work phone '32' and on cell phone '132'.

People from this office keep calling and leave threatening messages. I called them three times to advise them I am not the property owner they are looking for.  They were rude and insulting to me.  I am contacting both the Florida and California Attorney General as well as filing a complaint with the California Bar.   I will post the contact numbers.   I encourage everyone to also file complaints.
