recieved harassing calls at work from this company who is it

continuos harassing phone call to my employer, after being quoted the Consumer Protection Act, and asked repeatedly NOT to call me again.

Did some more checking on this after he told me he worked for WWR.  Traced it to a law firm in Santa Ana, California (although they have offices across the US.  Firm name is Weltman, Weisburg, Reis and a Rudy Gaba, who specializes in collection for bad debts.  Unfortunately, they use the term 'lawsuit' as a scare tactic.  They are also part of a group called Debt3.

Thank you so much for this information!  I've been receiving phone calls from the same number.  I don't know what they want or what they're talking about? I haven't returned the call yet and I refuse to answer when they call.  I've checked my credit report and have nothing on file that related to this.

Received multiple phone call from the 714-380-5867 number from Santa Ana, Ca according to caller ID.  A friend answered the phone today & took a message the person on the line stated that they were from "worldwide & could be reached at 714-380-5867 for the next for hours"...they have not had any luck in reaching the party they are attempting to reach so just have em " call me back today cause I am about to turn this over to Orange County Sheriff so that they can serve him with a summons, unless I hear back from him."

Caller Name was : Steve Meyers the chief legal administrator or some B.S.

This Fool Steve b calls me try to be rude and mk me pay somthing i havent made payment on by today.. or else... please!!!!! stated he was tired of playing phone tag.. i guess tag ur it....

A Michael Peters and a Don Terry has repeated called me and my wife at work.  Even after being told that we cannot accept personal phone calls at work, which is against a Federal Act.  They threatened my wife, by telling her that a Sheriff's Deputy would be coming to pick her up if she didnt give banking information over the phone immediately.  I spoke with these gentlemen and stated that I would like to take care of this, but do not have the entire amount whereas they threatened to sue.  They are from a company called WWR associates.  I have since seen and heard numerous complaints.  They wont get any of my money.  I have already contacts the credit card company and since started a payment plan with them.

Go to FTC.com and make a formal complaint with the Federal Trade Commision.  These guys actions are illegal.

I have spoke with numerous individuals who have given the guys banking information and the debt never got paid.  Go to the original creditor and make arrangements with them.  That is the safe way.
