received a phone call but when you answer nobody says anything

I got a call from this number and I don't remember who they said they were with but they said that they had a Federal Grant for me for 14 thousand some odd dollars. They had my name address and obviously my phone number and said that they wanted me to give them my savings or bank account number so they could deposit the grant. I was getting the grant supposedly because I pay my taxes on time and never filed for bankruptcy. I believe this is a scam. I told them I do not give my bank account number to someone over the phone whom I don't know and that they could send me paperwork in the mail since they had my address and they hung up on me.

called multiple times and never said anything, probably a scammer or trying to sell something, wish they would stop bugging me.

I get these calls all the time.  Just mess with them.  Tell them something crazy like my house is on fire, or I am trapped in the trunk of a car.

Seriously stop calling me I have a baby that keeps me up and you have already woken me up by calling me 6 times when I'm trying to sleep!!

Scam artists

Scammers trying to say I was randomly chosen to receive $14K in government grant money. Last I checked you have to beg the government for that money. TOTAL SCAM. No government entity will call you from a cell phone. Esp when the person on the other end of the line can barely speak English. Hang up, block the number and report them immediately!

Whoever is using your [***] is making scam calls. Why don't you lock that the [***] down

I received a call from this number .When I answered nobody was there. I tried to call back I got a message saying Phone number not available. It's probably a scam.

scam call, 3rd one today. I do not do business with anyone in this area code, nor do I know anyone in this state.

Foreign speaking man asked for my wife "trying" to pronounce her name. I said no and he hung up. This was the third call in one day and now blocked. She got on some list and is being bombarded, so we are having to change phone numbers for her. Other calls are asking if she wants a job and that they have one for her.

yup, they called me too... on my elderly mother's cell. I have it bcuz she's in the hospital.. heart failure.
I figured they hung up when hearing my deep & angry voice.
mostly all phone scammers target the elderly..( as we all know )... and they hang up when a man answers the call.

Heavy accent. Said I qualified for a federal grant. Wanted my credit card or bank number. I messed with them for a bit and they hung up.

Please, Attorney General, someone stop these calls!!!!!!  Is this ISIS?  The caller says nothing and hangs up or attempts to hang up.  The calls can be as much as 3 times a day!  Someone do something!!!!!!!
