They called me  5 times so far. Not leaving a VM. Is this a spam?

They called me early in the morning, and woke me up.  I didn't recogonize the phone number, so I didn't pick it up.  They also didn't leave a message.

I just got two missed calls back to back from this number.  No voicemail and i don't answer calls I don't know.

Received a call from this number and it was listed as "Recruiter 13" on the caller id of my iPhone, very weird. It is some sort of Apple or AT&T number?

Was left a pocket voicemail.

I received a call from this number and I actually answered it.  Are any of you currently looking for work?  The guy I talked to said that he was with the Chevron Corporation and said that he emailed me some information about a job.  When I looked up Chevron Corporation to see what jobs they were offering there was a scam alert for a fictitious job offer scam.

I'm thinking this guy (or others) are checking the job postings sites and getting phone and cell #'s from there.

I actually am looking for a job, so that makes sense. The whole scam sounds stupid to me. Why would I pay you to work for you? Sadly though, some people probably fall for it, since they're still doing it.

Received 2 call today. Called back - no company identification on the message. Sounds fishy.
