Got a called from an “Isabella” and she left a message threatening to send a complaint filed against me to litigation since I didn’t send back some documents or call back in regards to credit card debt from 4 years ago and 2 cards, then she asked for me to call +1 (714) 453-9292 with my case number. Which I never got a thing in the mail from them. So I called back and had to leave message since she didn’t answer. Then I got a call back from a very aggressive and rude man. Firstly, he pronounced my name completely wrong and secondly, he was very defensive when I asked for the company contact information and got even more mad when I suggested they could be scammers. I simply asked they send me the proof of the debt they are trying to collect and I will respond with payment if they are legitimate. He did state the 2 cards I did have few years back but they were charged off my credit. (Confused about that) Anyway, he got heated big time. Started asking me why I have this debt, why I haven’t reached out to them or the creditors, other strange and inappropriate questions.  He said he won’t send out documents and it’s my responsibility to contact them. Lol ummm how, sir? How? I didn’t know about them until today. He finally ended the call by telling me they will move forward with ligation. If it’s legit then I will respond with the documents sent to me by mail. Otherwise they will not be getting my money. Why would I blindly give away my money?

“Hello this message is from Stafford group Associates it is imperative for you to contact our office as soon as possible there were important documents that were mailed out to you a few days ago that requires your immediate attention however we have not received a response as of today it is imperative you contact our office immediately regarding this information as it may affect the outcome of this matter the contact number is 714-453-9292 again contact 714-453-9292 thank you for your attention to this matter…”

They call my and somehow got my daughters number and call her saying they have important documents for me to sign. And attempting to get information about me, from her.  Eventually she said she represents Surge Credit Card and I told her I was unable to pay them right now.

A SCAM!  Be Careful!  A woman left a message saying that they sent documents that I did not respond to and it required immediate action so I have to contact them.  An caller id it says Fpb Cogen Inc.  The person that called identified themselves at Stafford and Associates. Fpb Cogen Inc. says it is a corporation based out of Delaware according to online info.  It does not say what this company's line of business.  I blocked this call but they keep calling me.

American accent. Was calling for person X (obviously not me so I thought it might have been the previous person for my phone number). Caller says they have a complaint filed that needs my attention and I should contact them asap on the same number, using a provided case number. They also have questions about property Y (which is in my area code, but I have 0 association with it).

Just in case this was legit: I looked up the company/number, found this website, and am now convinced it's a scam that I should dismiss.

The address mentioned was linked to a PO box. Lol they are getting good. But all of this is public information.

I just got the same exact message.  They mentioned my address at the end which got my attention, but I called number and it goes straight to voice mail.  Glad I read all these comments about these scammers.

They are very pushy and called me back to back 7 times in a row after sending them to VM. I finally answered to figure out who it was that must of been a emergency. The lady continued to tell me there is a complaint filed against me... am i aware ? I said no. She said so you didn’t get our letter in the mail about the complaint against yiu ? I said from who ? What person or company? She said i can’t give yiu those details i need to send you over to my manager to go over your lawsuit. I hung up at that point ... googled the phone number and it took me here !!! Clearly a scam but man for a second they were almost convincing.

I received a call from this number. They did state they were Stafford Group & Associates stating there was a claim filed. Mentioned possible questions regarding the place I live stating the address. I went to a family member who is our family lawyer and my Uncle by marriage and he looked into it for me. It is most definitely a SCAM!! He says to ignore it and block the number ASAP!  I find it pays to know someone who is a respected lawyer and knows where to look to find the truth.

"Stafford Group and Associates" representative called  left a message regarding a complaint filed against me, even stating that they may have questions about an address where I used to live, but never owned. These scammers are getting good, but not good enough to fool me into giving them any money.

I had a voicemail from this number it say orange county california, regarding a complaint on my address. Well I don't own my house and my landlord just passed away I live in a duplex. The number says from stafford group and associates.

I just received a phone call just now with the same information.. but the person name is Siduguen who supposedly to be working out of Mandrich Law Group but working with this Associate Law Group now..

They are trying to reach ex sister in law about debt.  Our phone numbers are similar.  Claimed to be a law firm calling about property

Caller said her name was Hillary from Strafford  Group & Associates. Said a complaint had been filed with them, they had sent documents and needed an immediate response. Professional sounding, using name and address but offering no details other than their Case#. Phone # checked and said low spam risk although review showed numerous complaints, not including this one. Unfortunately Hillary will not be getting a response to her well played script.

If we all receive the same exact message it’s nothing but a scam. Ignore
