Said they were from Bank of America and asked for personal information

just got a call from them as well; because I didn't recognize the #, I didn't pick up; they left a message, they never mentioned why they were calling; I got suspicious and checked the # on goggle and got this webpage

A call from them woke me up this morning. Because the caller ID said "Cellular Call," I thought it could not be a solicitor, so I picked up. Wanted to verify personal information they apparently already have, to give me some kind of "rewards program." The most telling thing to me about this call is that although it sounded like any other telemarketing call, with a scripted speech, when I said I wasn't interested, he stopped the pitch and politely let me off the line. First time that has ever happened. Must be fraudulent.

Picked up a message left by these scam artists. Be careful. I don't know how they got my # but they sound like a well oiled machine.

I get a ridiculous number of calls, around the clock, that identify as Bank of America. I have taken to hanging up rather rudely. However, I was on a call this morning and couldn't answer the phone but could see the caller id number. Googled and here I am. Begs the question if BofAs customer lists have been compromised since I am a customer of BofA.

I didnt answer this number either and they didnt leave a message either. Just cheking what this idiot 714-5515548 is all about.

This number always shows up on our private home land line . . . have not and will not answer.  Calls at all hours of the day and night.  Can this be stopped and how do we do that?

My parents are getting calls at their house for ME... They tell them I do not live there and they keep calling back.  SCAM for sure...

I got a call from this number and picked it up. This person said she was from Bank of America so I asked her to identify herself as an employee from there and she re phrased it and said she's calling "on behalf" of Bank of America. With that, I told her to put me on her do not call list and she said she would and that it will take up to 30 days to do so.

Here's where it gets interesting, she gave me another number to call if I have any questions. The number is 1-888-665-9900, so I plugged that number right in and what do you know, somebody did some investigating on this and left us some useful information. Keep getting calls around the clock. Tried to call back from work phone and got a busy signal!

They always call, (I see them on my Caller ID) and they always hang up when my answering machine comes on. They never leave a message. I have not picked up and I will not pick up when I see this number on my Caller ID.

I called Bank of America about this number yesterday and they told me that they would not be calling aski8ng for personal information. They also gave me the information listed below to report this number that has been calling twice a day everyday. They more people that report it the faster they can track them down and stop them from calling.
