I'm sick of these people calling me. They call 3 or 4 times every day. I always let the calls go to voicemail, but they never leave a message.

Receiving unwanted calls from this number. They say they are Credit One Protection.

The 866-800-8138 number is correct-- call this and select option 3. You will be asked to enter your phone number to stop receiving calls from Credit One. Don't press the buttons too fast or the automated system won't recognize your number.

You can also get your cell company to block calls from that number. Verizon gives you four numbers.

This is a bank I currently have had an account with for 10 years+.  I already have the card protection but they still call.  I tried option 3 and I hope it works.  I have a late schedule so its beyond annoying to be prematurely awakend to hear a recording.

I have this credit card. I just called them back and took my number off of there list so they wont call me with offers. Hope it works

I have been receiving this call every day. I spoke with the Indian lady on the phone and she hung up om me when I denied her request voice record our conversation. I have reported this info to Credit One and they have no such a person or agency with the 714-551-5552 working for them. Never give out any of your personal information or account numbers to such callers. Report any future calls to your Credit card company asap or to your local police. Most states in the US have an anti-crime unit for such crimes in their State Police Departments. Call them instead.

and asked, if they have the number of 714-551-5552.

they said, "THIS IS NOT OUR NUMBER"

Credit One started calling about a month ago, sometimes 3 - 4 calls per day, with no message left.  I called both the 714-555-5552 and 866-800-8138 numbers today and got the same exact voice recorded message about credit protection, with the option to press #3 to have them stop contacting you with additional offers.

I will update if this actually works and stops the calls.

Get a call from this number at least twice a day.  Understand from these posts that it is Credit One Protection.  Will call 866-800-8138 choose option 3 and get rid of these solicitations. DON'T CALL US, WE'LL CALL YOU IF WE WANT ANYTHING!

I refuse to give them a call to stop calling me as by entering my phone number only tells THEM (or anyone who they let know) that it is a VALID PHONE NUMBER.  I hate that I am on the "DO NOT CALL" list and that they STILL call me.  (I have verified with the FCC that I am STILL on the "DO NOT CALL" list.  It is WORTHLESS to put in complaints as they STILL call.  I DO NOT give my number to ANYBODY that I do not know.  I am a very private person and don't want to talk to them.  I will not answer the phone if I don't know who is calling, but WILL return their call if they leave a message and it DOES interest me.  (Love the ones that say we will lower your interest rates on your credit cards when I don't even have ANY credit cards...
