lol its a 3rd party calling center trying to sell insurance. NUFIC is national union fire insurance company. just sells accident insurance though. they could of just told you its a courtesy call.. nothing to do with the federal government thats just [***].

i get calls from NUFIC as well but the # is 719-266-2923 everyday dont answer if they dont lv a message then its not that important

Hey, I work for Chartis insurance. Nufic is our unerwriter. Theres a large computer that makes our calls for us. Sometimes it links us threw to you a little delayed. and by the time we get on the line you've hung up. We're not trying to harrase you. If you've noticed we've called so many times answer for once. And just hear us out. We're not a scam. Just trying to help people get some decent cheap supplemental health insurce. Hear us out and I'll be more then willing to remove you from the call list. But if we dont hear you or you hang up without talking our only option to click is "No answer" And thats how you end up with so many calls. I'm sorry you feel bothered. I'm just trying to do my job, and I want to help you.

Be careful.  NUF has been running scam of taking money out of your checking account without your authorization.  The phone calls are just that, pretending that you have said yes to their scam....

Check your checking account right away and see whether they have been taking money out of your account!

It happened to me and I am still fighting to get my money back....

you are right they also deducted the amount from my checking a/c without my permission
when i call to my bank, they also charges $30 to stop payment.. I lost around $(29+29+30)

They call me 2 and 3 times a Day and I'm sick of it I do not answer the call cause I didn't know who it was or the name that comes up on caller ID and I'm on the Do Not Call List !! I goggled NUFIC and they are on the Rip Off List...so Scam it is. I will answer it next time they call and hopefully somone will be on the other end that I can give a head full to !!

I've been receiving numerous calls during the day and evenings.  They never leave a message.  The NUFIC i.d. on phone comes from 978-767-4690.  After googling I've discovered it's a fraudulent call.

NUFIC 1 419 464 7015 on our  caller Id We don't answer unless we know the caller or we are expecting the call ahead of time. plus we have had a lot of unfamiliar callers lately. We respond to messages that we recognize as lagitament to our interests. It's concerning.

I am getting calls from this number and my caller ID says Breast Cancer Foundation. Scammers for sure!
