i also got a call from this number also. says bank of america on the caller id. no message left, check with BofA and no alerts or messages they can find.

Just got a call from this number. Just dead air.

Dead air calls, never leaves a message - calls every day, sometimes twice. Return calls used to say that "Bank of America sometimes provides offers or services we think you may be interested in" and then hung up. The local branch did not know about it.

Now they've added additional information, including a contact number:

1-888-665-9900

And an option to be placed on the do-not-call list for Bank of America by entering your number (why not, they have it anyway).

I think it's a defective robo-caller pushing phone ads.

If you're not a BofA customer and are on the federal do-not-call list, they are in violation.
