Dude called on a Sunday says he’s a handyman. Next time he calls I’m going to be nvite him over and see how handy he is when I sue him for violating the do not call list.

Call id'd as "Suspected Spam" by our phone service provider and blocked after one ring.  New telemarketer number.

I got a call from this guy about doing repairs on the house. I tried being polite but he was really rude and snarky when I said we didn't need his services. Reported him to the FTC.

I have asked these people to stop calling like 100 times.  All they do is get another number.  He said that he was my friend and that I had agreed to let him do work on my house on a previous call.

Eventually they will find a forgetful senior citizen to rip-off.  The FCC, California State Contractors Board, your local elected representative... just don't care.

Thanks for the 'heads up'.  I received the local contractor speech.  I am a retired senior accountant and senior systems analyst, and I TRACK ALL these calls and report them to the FTC's DO NOT CALL complaint website at https://complaints.donotcall.gov and 'hope' they act sooner or later.  I BLOCK them after the 3rd or 4th time, unblocking old numbers that have NOT called in 9-12 months.  Oh, NEVER say YES to acknowledge these idiots or they will mess with your credit using your voice.
