this number called on Sept 8 2014 . caller id shows a VXXXXXXXXXXXXXX long number + 714-607-6046 ..no msg left. most likely telemarketing or scammer

got call fro this number. let answering machine pick it up.. no msg left.. no caller id number only.. looks like robo call telemarketing  ( 9/9/14)

As much as I hated taking this call it's actually a pretty slick recording that sounds as if a real person is calling. The constant silent breaks as the systems adjusts for you talking is the clue.
Sales call from a robot and not a person.
Don't know how to get rid of them as they didn't give a company name.

id as:  714-607-6046 or 240-318-1557 supportdep.  Some type of quick business loan.  They call-in from several
different numbers but all seem to be based out of so. calif.  They start right in on who owns the company, name,
etc.  Click.  It seems that some fall for this crap and it soon becomes the loan from hell.  They will clean out your
bankaccount  with-in a week.  

caller id shows SUPPORTDEP, so I knew what I was getting into when I picked up.  At first I thought it was a robocall, because nobody responded until I actually said, 'hello'.  The lady kept asking if I was the business owner, and I finally asked her if I had ever done business with her company.  When she replied no, I knew it was a person - so I informed her that I had been on the DNC list since 2009 and hung up.

Be sure to report these calls to the ftc, as getting the gov't to act is the only way this problem will go away.

Recorded robot sounds real enough, asks for "business owner"...they want to loan $$$, likely based on your business invoices or something. They'll need your bank info which you should not give out.
Anywho, even if your # is on state or fed DNC list, you'll get these calls if your # is on a web site, directory or advertisements. Yep, even if it's your cell phone in your personal name, not the business. I think business #'s are fair game and not covered under Do Not Call. Ignore 'em or block 'em. They're major pains in the a**.
