I hung up as soon as an automated message literally shouted "dont hang up, this is not a sales call"

I got the call myself and over the Caller-ID was ST. Didn't answer it but wonder who was calling? Did not leave a message.

Didn't answer because it was too my landline immediately after an unsolicited call to my cell. Caller ID said "ST."

Just got a call. Caller ID said "ST".  By the time I picked up the phone they had hung up. Based on the posts here, it obviously was nothing important pertaining directly to me. So if they call again, I will just pick up and hang up real quick, just like they did.

Just got the call. They left a recorded message.
A life pendant is waiting for me ( if I'm 65 or older) it's already paid for including shipping and it was ordered by my doctor. It's bull crap. Yes some days I feel 65 or older but none of my doctors ordered it. Plus I'll get $3000 in grocery money. Call claimed to be from AARP.

I filled out dozens of  FCC complaints at the DoNotCall site on them
wrote my congressman and senators
and  it appears to have finally worked

this turkey said he's calling from NYC  though the caller id  says California Call

so I informed him:

" it's a federal  offense to make a call with spoofed caller id,  $10,000 per call, and  i got the guys in Florida busted by the feds.  If you dont believe me just  google  Michael Hilgar  Florida , so  hang on to your ass i'm gonna  have it too.  That name i want you to google  is  H-I-L-G-A-R   and i'll see you in court . Tell your employer.  So long. "

Will see if it works after a few more calls.

If anybody knows somebody who works there  -  please  post  whereabouts.  I sent  FBI and  FCC and FTC and a local TV station Hilgar's physical address in Altamonte Fla,  and i suspect these guys  took over his operation. .

Calls and hangs up on forwarding

Called 6-27-14; did not leave a message.  Had the same call from different number-same alert system and $3,000 coupons for groceries.  No mention of AARP   I believe first call was from Flordia  earlier this month.

On 6/17 a message was on answer machine saying "Alert Seniors"   It went on to say we would be given an alert system and it was free.  We were also going to receive $3,000 of food coupons.  Message said to press 1 to accept.   Male speaker also said our "provider" will be paying for these items.    ST was in the caller ID.

Previously we've been called at least 9 times w/a recorded message about the "Alert System".  Each of those calls had
the number 917-398-9352 and NY in the caller ID.
