Scammer alert...new number

Got a call early this am. Do not know who it was. I just ans and hung up. It was before 8 am my time

calling me and no one there.

Been receiving calls from "Alert" with different numbers for past few weeks.  Never bother to answer.  Know it's some scam.  Latest call this AM around ll:00.  Being on do not call list has no bearing, apparently.  One night last week they called after 9PM EST.  Annoying.  Hopefully, they'll give up soon.

Same here. Different number each time. They fake their outgoing number so you can't identify them, which is a federal crime. The return number must be good. It's definitely a scam. Even the area codes change. Ha

Continue to call. It's an automated voice saying don't hang up and it's about pain medication.   Extremely annoying!!! I'm on the do not call list, which obviously does not work.

The scam revolves around collecting information about you and your health insurance, so that they can send a low cost miracle pain cream.  They call through from several different numbers, and may be associated with a number of other scams  The phone ID can be either "customer svc" or "alert" (and who knows what else).   I made up a bunch of information for them, and hung up after getting bored with it all.  They do a pretty good job of sounding legitimate, although the miracle pain cream idea seems a bit idiotic.  They also call through 917 818-0265, and it seems impossible to stop them from calling.

Same Scammer claims to be selling pain medications, if legit how come the number is constantly changeing.

it's the nation pain (in the neck) people again.  I  no more than block them than they call from a new number.

These LOW LIVES constantly change their number, so it will not be blocked. I got 6th or 7th call with the same message today ( IN 3 DAYS)  from this 714 area code. Before it was 877 code, 732, 801, etc. Pretty shifty lot!! I keep blocking their numbers and duly report each call to FCC ( but it truly sounds like the waste of my time  - since these crooks still operate with such impunity!). I wish, we could hire mafia hit-men to get rid of them - sound like this is the only option which might be workable.

No answer, called at 10:10 this morning.

Got a call from these folks.  I don't pick up and they don't leave a message.  Call ID: Alert.

Just like what others have already said.  This is my first call from the 714-607-6618 number.  Already had four calls from the other number that they have been using (310-495-4617).

No company on the up-and-up would be using several different numbers.

Pain Relief of some sort or other.  Same experience - same scam calls spoofing different numbers and area codes.  Real @ssholes.

Called for a miracle Pain Cream. Scam all the way. Hung up after a short listen. Pathetic..

Thanks for the info. I also received a call from 310 495 4617 on Nov 5. I blocked that number and they then tried calling back eight times (ha, ha but my phone never rang)! I have now blocked this number too (although my national scam blocker cut it off after the first ring).

It's an automated voice saying "Don't hang up"... It's about pain medication. Please report the caller to the FCC. Here is the link:

Lately when I see these obvious telemarketing calls I just pick up and hang up before they ever get going.

didn't answer. sometimes I turn my phone off because they repeat call 5-10 min later.
