- JBHJust received a message from this number stating I needed to call them regarding a debit card issue. 90 minutes earlier I had received a similar message regarding the same card # from 512-861-0717, which had the same type of message referring to the same number card, which is not mine.
Obviously a phishing scam and I'm irritated to get two scam text messages within the same night.- Caller: Unknown

- DreddloxI just an SMS with the same email and a request for a non-existent card "Debit card starting with 511182XXXX". I received one from yesterday asking me to a call a different number - 512 861 0737 - referring to a JP Morgan Chase card and providing an email with a non-existent domain name: jpmcefs.com. I've never gotten these before...

- rfI received these message too. It has to be a scam. I guess that if you provide your card number and your pin they can make a new card and use it. Someone I know here in New York got his card replicated and there were purchases made in Brazil. He found out because the bank called to ask him if he was or had been in Brazil recently. He never traveled to Brazil. He had the card in his possession all these time so it was a replica. As you can imagine he had to change his card. Read about ATM's on the streets. There are people who connect other stuff to them to copy your card info. Try to always use your bank's ATM. I'm going to call Chase and let them know about this number. There is also a 818-864-3253 claiming to be from Chase. Thanks to everyone for sharing your concerns.

It is scam. I don't have a card with those numbers, even I have, I will also google the number first or call back to bank customer service that list on the statment, never call back to those number - Tom replies to ccI got the text last night and just now. Did some research and found out the "511182XXXX" has been used in several scans like this. It must be a common number on Debit Cards.
