I had a voicemail from this Nr today to call back regarding a claim.  Automated female voice.  Caller id shows it originated from Silverado, CA

IRS threatens lawsuit against me.  I am innocent.IRS

Same as others above message left:  "Call Immediately", caller id from Silverado, CA.  I set my system to block all future calls from this number.

Message to say the IRS is filing a lawsuit. Umm, I pay my taxes and file every year accordingly. But reading the other comments, it's a scam.

Yep - IRS phone scam. They aren't known for using robotic computer-generated voices. Just FYI - the IRS does NOT conduct business by phone. They mail notices. They don't sue unless you've already gone through several rounds with them trying to work with you to pay up.

Got call twice & just called the # the guy identified as IRS it's the same voice that I'm getting calls fr diff #. Such a pity that this person is trying to cheat all of us to gain $. Wished we can report this person. A friend of mine works at the IRS & they don't call to sue a somebody

Received a cal saying they were from the IRS and they were going to sue me because I owed back taxes.  Told them they were a liar and a scammer and they hung up on me.

Yes.... this IS a scam.  Be careful.   They say they are the IRS.  This is not true.  It is a scam.
