Received call saying they were calling in reference to mail paperwork and had 48hrs to call back.

Call from Anthony with the Huntington group that they needed to obtain my signature and if it would be best to get this done outside of the workplace to contact Richard at (714) 795-5289.  They called me at work which is harrassment.

Same thing here! Needless to say, I BLOCKED that SCAM/SCARE-MONGING SCUMBAG'S number! Let "him/them" do their WORST...that is, if they CAN (I SERIOUSLY DOUBT they will, because I think that "Richard" character is BLUFFING!!!)!!! :-p

Huntington Group calls to my work and cell saying I have 48 hrs or they will take legal action, even garnish my wages. When I call and ask them for their mailing address, phone and fax-they refuse. They are horrible and do not stop.

person calls and never leaves a message on my phone, then called my work and said they wanted to talk to HR to garnish wages, Asking for personal information. When I researched them, they are scam artist and want your information and to bully you into paying them money over the phone. DON'T give them any money.

Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated
If they are bothering you, report them:

Also contact your local attorney general
If they continue to bother you, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
