I have not received a bill from an company that performed a an MRI and now it's in collection.

Received a call from 714-821-4704.  "Jason", x115 wanted a call back  to "discuss a business matter of mine", after assuring me that "this is not a sales call".  I annotated this number in my phone's address book as AMS DEBT COLLECTOR  So I'll always know who's trying to hassle me.

Person asked for my ex-wife by name...I instantly knew it was a collection agency so I told that fool to never call my number again he said ok if she not there...I never gave any info just told him again dont call my number and hung up

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

They have been bothering and looking for my dad and that their calling from  collection.

A Sherry Stevens calling , mentioned an unknown person. Was snooty enough to leave an extension number 113. Well she's not getting any call backs from this house. No debts owed!

ID read out said account and the number is 1-714-821-4704. Guess they want what they think is theirs, part of the stimulus checks. Lol, they called the wrong number! No debts and no stimulus checks here!

What?!!!!!.... All the debt collection businesses have opened back up.... Wrong move!..... And Richard Moss you've called the wrong number, no debts here. Get a clue!....

Got a call on my cell phone, out of the blue about some medical payment outstanding from AMS. and I followed up with the provider and there's no outstanding bill!!..The caller mentioned about $240 due, for which no bill was ever received, and no notification either.. I thanked her as I wasn't aware of any thing outstanding and feels like they are trying to scam folks, as most people would want to pay attention to anything outstanding.. just in case! and she gave extn: 113, beware of AMS
