    Another SPOOFED number.  The caller asked for my wife by name, and when I said not available, she asked for me.  When I said how may I help you versus YES, she hung up after two or three attempts.  I called back the number using *67, and operator message said 'you have reached a number that has been disconnected or no longer in service'.  SCAM suspected.

    2nd call since yesterday.  This time they gave their speech, namely a painting contractor, bla bla bla.  Since it is a SPOOFED number, I know it is a SCAM.
