Left a voice mail with a number and reference number - no clue what this is about - called back and said it wasn't a good number

Left message and gave a reference #. She stated her name was Elizabeth Williams and wants to discuss options for repaying or eliminating back tax debt which I do not have. BEWARE

6/7/18 12:30'ish got a message from Elizabeth William's about back tax debt.
Called from 714-907-1080 but left this # 877-325-8207 to call back & use reference # 08082.
I called my accountant & the only reason I did was because she was definitely American, no thicker accent like most scammers have. He said this is for sure a scam.

Spam call about back taxes. Said her name was Elizabeth Williams and to call back 877-325-8207, but this 714 number was the caller ID. Multiple other complaints for the same reason already logged recently on the 877 number. No company mentioned, jut the name.

Called and left a message about collecting back tax debt. Said her name was Elizabeth Williams. Gave me a reference number that would be helpful when I returned her call.

states her name is Elizabeth Williams; some type of tax debt; really????????????

If you call that number, you get a robo-greeter.  They refer you to an "Agent" but never at that point ID themselves.   I talked to an agent that said that they were something called "Hurricane Tax".  But they are deceptive because the agent first says "Tax Office".  Which is intended to throw you off.  Later the guy I talked to said they were a "Tax Resolution Office".  Can't get any further information and I can't find any tax company with the name "Hurricane" .

Simply ignore and block the number.

Same thing happened today. Elizabeth Williams calling about my back tax debt (don't have debt) and left a number and reference number.

7149071080 reference code is 08082  her name is elizabeth williams   and she wanted me to give her a call back at 8773258207 and the reference number.  This was to be about back taxes.  If this was the irs or anyone who works for irs you will first get a letter, if it goes further you will receive a certified letter.  The irs or state officals never call  they show up.  This i know..... And once it happens to you, you too will know what to do.

Same as Missouri et al. Scam about back taxes. Stay clear!

No doubt in my mind, a scam.  Talked about tax debt, never mentioned IRS or state.  Nether the IRS or the state would call, everything is done with certified mail.  Said to call 877-325-8207 and use case #08082.  SCAM.

An "Elizabeth Williams" called while I was on the phone with a client with a phone number from California 714-907-1080 and left a voicemail stating she was calling "in reference to your back taxes to discuss repayment" and call 877-325-8207 and reference number 08082.  It was definitely an American woman.  Total scam. BEWARE.

I just received the call. I didn't answer this phone call because it came up as a possible spam number. I immediately searched on line for this number and got this website. Apparently this number is calling everywhere and everyone. Not sure how this person or they got my number.

WOW! you would think they would be a little more sly.  If everyone has different tax debt you think they would use different reference numbers! The same lady called me and gave the same reference number of #08082. So sad that people are out there trying to take advantage of others!

Same as above, Elizabeth Williams, a woman with an American accent She left the msg about my tax debt with same reference number as in the above posts 08082. I will not call back

7/5/2018 2:57pm ET Caller Elizabeth Williams from Huntington Be., CA -- leaves a voice message. She asks recipient to call back on 877-325-8207. Def could be an advanced AI voice. Def believe it is artificial bc even w proper inflection and tone, it sounds robotic. It directly states it is calling "about your back tax debt"...and "I need to discuss your repayment or illumination options with some new changes just taken recently..." Then it instructs recipient/listener to "pls use reference #08082.... that's very helpful." Sounds courteous, convincing & innocuous. We have zero tax debt. This is dangerous phishing. Beware. Do not call back. It is phony and an attempt to defraud.

Just called the 1-877 number Elizabeth Williams left and Tracy from Hurricane Tax Agency answered saying they’re a tax debt collector . I asked to have my number removed from their list, told her I was reporting their BS and to never call me again and she hung up

Received the same call from the number 1.1.714.907.1080 Elizabeth Williams at 10:30am PST. She sounds legit--like a mother or someone you might trust.
"Yeah, this is Elizabeth Williams and I am calling in reference to your back tax debt. I need to discuss your repayment or elimination options with new changes that have taken affect recently. So if you could give me a call back the number is 877.325.8207 and then if you could give me a reference number when you call, that's very helpful. Um, it's 08082. Ok? Thank you so much. Bye."
