received a message on my answering machine claiming to be "CCR&Associates" (although the caller ID popped up as "capitol recover") looking for someone by a name i've never heard of claiming my number was a contact number for a fraud case possibly involving a SSN. haven't called back yet because the name wasn't anyone in my household but we'll see what they have to say if they call back.

A man just called me claiming he was from some office in NY, asking to speak to me or my attorneys, regarding a fraud case. Seeing as I've never committed any more serious of a crime as a speeding ticket, I'm pretty sure he's just an idiot. I do not intend to call him back, and if he calls me back, I have his number saved in my phone and will be picking up and hanging up when I see him call again.
