Got a call from this number and they left no message. I got a call a few weeks ago from 716-219-6822. Coincidence? I don't think so. I bet it is a scammer who is trying a different because their other number was blocked.

Call said "local", but is not as I am in the 757 area code of Virginia, 1st time receiving call from this number.  Also received a call from a new Srv number earlier today which traced back to the phony credit card service company.  Likely all the same people trying different numbers as I never pick up unless I recognize the number or name.

I would not be pressing any buttons no matter what the recording says.  It could be that you agree to something unbeknownst to you!

Received call from this number a few minutes ago.  A male voice shouted "DON'T HANG UP, THIS IS NOT A SALES CALL", and then they hung up.

Same here, but CID showed from Youngstown, N Y. We were not home, but no matter, we wouldn't have answered it anyway as do NOT answer ANY calls unless we recognize the #! Even though have missed some medical calls we should have taken. Have told them all this & they have worked a system with us so that we do get their calls. Wouldn't the telemarketers be unhappy about this!! You can bet your Sweet Bippy your calls were NOT Coincidence with the similar #s & IS a SCAMMER or at least someone you DO NOT want to answer the phone for. Let's hope our FINE???? government comes up with a solution to these STUPID calls & SOON.

Got a call from this number. CID said Youngstown, NY. My mother had one of these devices after she fell and broke her hip in a room without a telephone and had to crawl to a telephone she could reach. We called the dealer ourselves so we got a reputable firm. The device itself is free. However, there is a monthly charge that goes with having the device. It came with a speaker phone that could be heard all over the house. She fell several times and they called me at work to let me know so that I could go home. So, they are a good investment if you have an elderly relative living alone because they are too independent to move in with you. This particular call is a scam, but the idea and the device (First Alert) is a very good product. Just make sure you are the one who calls and don't call these clowns.

I just got a call from this number telling me, "THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION".  In an effort to stop illegal/overuse of narcotic pain medicine, the insurance companies have authorized a new cream that can be applied directly where the pain is.  Instructed to press 1 to accept the delivery or 5 to do something else (I quit listening closely).  When I did not press a button, the call disconnected.  Nobody in our household take prescription pain medicine!

Dean air followed by "Do not hang up.  This is NOT a sales call.  The chronic pain....."  At which point I hung up.  There has GOT to be something the government can do to make these nuisance calls stop, if they would just decide to do so.  The Do Not Call List has just seemed to make it worse.  Some of these @55wipes USE the DNC list AS their calling list, because they know that if the number is on the list, it is a live, active number.  And Time Warner Cable needs to allow us to block any dang body we please on the phone service WE PAY FOR, without limiting it to only 30 numbers before they charge charging an extra monthly fee.  It's like TWC BENEFITS financially from having more scammers out there calling you than they allow to block for free.  Robocalls are illegal in my state but that doesn't seem to matter.
