Received a call from 716-240-6324.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't know.  The voicemail left was a recorded confirmation that my loan of $5000 was approved.  I have not applied for any loan.  Clearly a payday loan scam.

I don't answer the phone if I dont recognize the number. Told me I was approved for $5000. Didn't apply for a loan & surely not from BUFFALO, NY (thats the location it gave with the # )... Yes, must be a payday scam. Then I got an email it from Mike Oliver, Loan Processing Manager.

The caller id showed 'V81...' followed by a string a numbers.  Never a good sign.  It was a recorded message, as follows:

Hi. This message is intended to you.  The reason of the call was to inform you that your loan application has been successfully approved up to $5000.  So, if you are still looking for the loan in the market then just call back us on our direct line number 716-240-6324. Thanks Advance America."

I've never applied for a payday loan in my life.  Clearly a scam.

My call from 716-240-6324 was exactly the same as reported by Bill above, with the same voicemail left.

The automated voice says "And once again expired after that you will be taken under custody by the local cops as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment we would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you the number to call is (717)240-6324..."

I got the same message as you.

I just got the same threatening voice mail a few minutes ago. Hmmm, last year was for loans, this year it's criminal charges, didn't even identify their company, absolutely ridiculous!,

I constantly get calls from these scams, this time it was threatening to have me arrested for issues with my taxes

The automated teller machine voice said something like "There are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment  related to an IRS tax filing you did this year, we would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you the number to call is 716-240-6324"

Received message "From the headquarters which will get expired in the next 24 working hours and once again expired after that you be taken under custody by the local cops as there are serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you. The number to reach us is 716-240-6324"

Just got the same one saying I’ll be arrested if I don’t call back. Bogus!

Same IRS Scam.  Funny, the previous poster from a few minutes ago has same initials KK.  They must be going alphabetically.

I got the same IRS message a few minutes ago.  I called the number but it kept busy.  I am glad I found your posts.  It gave me a peace of mind.

Taken under custody? By local cops? Just those two line make me laugh.

I want these calls because it's a spam about taxes and it not true because they call about taxes and the government is Washington D.C

I had a voice mail saying there were 4 complaints against me, and local cops were going to take me into custody if I didn't call them back. They actually used the verbiage "local cops". Come on
