Wow I got same text and I called he asked for my name I gave it to him and he hung up on me but I'm so glad I googled the number to find it to be a scam artist before I went thru with calling back thx

A scam told me in order for me to get a loan with them had to send them 600 dollars. Out of my account. Really told him i am trying to get a loan cause i am broke!!! Guess that info isn't secure on line when you apply for credit. Beware.

No it isn't because you filled out the form that was put up by crooks to gather information.  You can also expect calls from "debt collectors" trying to scare you into paying them for that nonexistent loan.

In need of a loan. Contacted by this number via text. It said I was APPROVED for $5000, 36 month loan and payments would only be $175/month! I got excited!  Then my inner voice called my gut thought... Hmmm.... this is too good to be true! Sooooo happy I researched this number associated with someone named "Eric Foster" working with Advance America! Scam,  Scam,  SCAM!!!  Vulnerable consumers BEWARE!

Received a text from an Eric Foster saying with Advance America offering $5000 loan & leaving this number to call back to accept.  So glad I researched the number before I called them!  Scam!

HOW can scams like this keep happening with posts like this warning people?  I truly believe that there’s a very special place in Hell for scammers right next to the pedifiles and the hackers. Scam- SCUM!  I wouldn’t wipe -well you know- with them, not would I pee on them if they were on fire. I’d let them burn for all of the people they’ve hurt.  Give me 5 minutes in a room with this “Eric Foster”and he’d be breathing through a tube for a very long time!

Got a text saying I was approved for a $5000 loan i figured it was a scam but called to make sure he wanted me to send $500 to prove I’m “trustworthy” I hung up

Oh man this scammer has been doing this since 2017??? I received the exact same call today 05/21/2019, however he changed his number to (972) 220-8278 and said his name was Eric Foster , Accounts manager for
Cash Advance America... He told me I was approved for between $1,000- $5,000. I was skeptic because I never applied for Cash Advance??? So i ask him where he got my info from and he said i applied on the AdvanceAmerica.net which i never did. And while i was speaking to him his line kept going n and out, so i ask him if he was using Skype or VOIP to call me and i was actually being funny, and he said yes??? So i went with my intuition and told him ok let me call you back... I dont know how he got my info and/or if he is gonna try and use it, i wish i google search the number first before calling back. I am also glad i researched before going any step further. This scam artist is dumb though and/or i am naive because he is using the same name still after 2 years??? smh

Got a text from Eric foster saying I was Approved for $5000 loan 36 month loan and $175 payment. If I was interested to call back 813 number

I just got the same message as you on May 30th 2019 and he wanted to send money to my account and then have me send it back to him via western union as a trustworthy gesture

Got the same text message stating I was approved for a $5000 dollar loan for 36 months for $175, but through Cash now. I am desperate so I called, but when I called there was a lot of noise in the background like dogs barking and such. Got the feeling this isn’t right so when he asked for my full social. I told him I didn’t feel comfortable giving that over the phone he hung up on me. Guess this guy is still up to his old ways. Thankful now I did not go through with it.

He sent again 3000$ to my account he told me if i will not return my SSN and bank account will freeze by FTC
