Called and didn't leave a message. Who is this?

Got a similar call (as noted by sjc), and they were looking for Ann Jones. I got so many calls for ANN JONES that I'm inclined to really find her.

got a call from this company saying  my husband has a payday loan from some company never heard from in 2008 wanted me to pay 900 dollars but will take payments of 50 a month...asked her to send me something in the mail...said there is no time...she said she did...to a house i havent lived in for 3 yrs...said i had 24 hrs to call her with a credit card...i think we will take our chances with court...been scammed once...not again!!
there is no such company called PRIME CREDIT SOLUTIONS!!!!

I got a call today from the same number. telling me that there is going to be a lawsiut if i dint call him back. by a certain time. i think its just another scam.  i hae this happend twice now to me and they where 2 different numbers.

Person tried to sound intimidating. Said his name was Victor White and he was a claims processor but did NOT  say who, or what company, he was with. I needed to call 716-240-6992. I may call in the morning and ask what this is about and request to send me something in writing. I don't think any legit business acts like this on the phone and it's not the way to get people to cooperate.

This company is listed as PC (Prime Credit) Solutions.[43 complaints listed with the BBB--they are not accredited] They called from 704-200-2283 and 716-821-0327 on two different occasions. On the first call a woman named Laura was courteous in the beginning of trying to resolve a collection on a check cashing loan I defaulted on. When I said it had been paid, she suggested that we get the information from the other creditor on a conference call and I agreed. The information presented was identical with the exception of the date which differed by one day. When I asked for written documentation of what I was going to be paying on she became irritated and demanded that we proceed as it was a different account that she had.  I said I would do nothing until I received documentation and was hung up on. They called again three weeks later and again I requested documentation and told I was rude when he was the one that was not listening. He stated they would NOT provided documentation. I contacted the company which I worked with originally, that had records of the debt being paid in full, and they stated something did not sound right. That I had a right to contact the collection reporting agency and dispute this if they had reported this on my report--and, potentially have it removed.
