called twice once myself and once my spouse, individual named Javier Figueroa from a Company named AARS stating that he needed to talk to blank blank and to call back at 716-309-2592.  Called the number back and voicemail.

Another debt collector from New York breaking the law.

“Hi Linda this is Xavier _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ I'm calling in regards to a claim that was sent over to our office this morning we're in the process of doing a background verification on for one of our clients and we need to speak with either your cell for Victor today in regards to the matter our phone number is 716-309-2592 thank you…” Said he was calling to speak to me or Victor for a background check for a client.

Xavier Figueroa said he was doing a background for a client. Said they had come to take away my car for a loan I hadn't paid. I never took out a loan. They would settle for $1,900

This number sent me a text stating I have a debt and they are willing to settle for 50% . I called it back and a man names Javier answered and said he received a debt order and wanted to collect.  I asked from who and he said Zale and said he could settle.  I said I am not paying you anything  - this debt was resolved in my bankruptcy 10 years ago. He was a fast talker to so I knew something wasn't right. So he said well I got this collection order this morning and I said I dont care when you got it - this debt was resolved in my Bankruptcy and I have the paperwork to provide prove it.  Then he hung up on me.  THIS IS A SCAM - DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY MONEY. The scammers always come out of the woodworks around the holidays.
