I received a call from this number regarding a paydayloan I had taken out years ago.  They claimed to be attorneys etc., so i simply disregarded everything they said.  About 3 weeks later I found out these scumbags got a judgment against me and began garnishing my wages for the check amount plus some other LARGE ridiculous fees from god knows what.  Can they legally do this?? I am a car salesman, so it is pretty hard to convince me of anything that sounds like a scam, but even my credit cards have not had me garnished.  Why has this place for a paydayloan?

I got the same call from a Jonathan Swanson from a steve scott law firm supposedly. I would look up the laws in your state. I live in California and this is some info I got. I would fight it and I would look into it. This guy is mirserable and very rude. aldo look up the statue of limitations in your state for this matter. You can report them to the FCC, The BBB, state attorney generals office for this bad practice.

   Payday loans, even those based on checks, cannot be prosecuted in California. This is because the merchant knows in advance the person does not have funds to cover the transaction.

If u get a call from this guy call the number back and push star u will see its just a cell phone! U can also call the cops if he. Keeps calling and harasing u. ur right mike i called and pressed star and its just a cell phone this kid is a joke! he called me to saying theres a warrent for my arrest and this and that this guy is a [***]! sounds like some fruity [***]! trying to act though on the phone me and my wife loughed so hard my chest hurts! i called the cops showed them my phone bill and this web page and im pressing charges! this stupid kid was calling at 2am waking my kids! and he called from some number that said court house on my caller id i tracked the number and it was sent from that prank app like u said! this guy is a fraud peaple hang up and call the cops! and every one call the fcc and file a complaint shut this [***] down
