Said I won a lot of money and wants to visit my house to give me a check.

Call from Consumer Clearing House (on my work phone) saying I won money. Yeh, sure.

Called me on Wednesday around 3:00 p.m. asking me why I had not answered the letter I had received in the mail  last Monday stating I had won $500,000  I stated i got so many of these that I just threw the away as most of them were asking for money to process the transaction.  The lady I was speaking to did sound sincrere, but I do not believe anyone anymore.  She said she was transing me to the attorning that was on their staff to fil me in further.  She did so, but after a couple of questions the line went dead.  I cannot recall the question she asked me, but I am sure it was to do with my husband as I had just placed in a home for Alzheimers last Friday and she was asking me how much money I had in the bank, etc.  It was then I became suspecious.  I had already bren asked where I kept my savings and checking.   I will be caling my bank in the morning first thing .. They havre no other information.

So, this is my sad story.  I should have known better,  I m letting you.

i got a call today, ask the man to identify himself her then said "lipstead".when i ask what "lipstead" is the man hung up.

Call supposedly from some  Attorney's office for a clearing house  telling me I won $500,000.  Asked how I felt about winning a half million
dollars, I said fine----but what do I have to do for it-----she hung up.....

I got a call this morning at 8:30amCST, from the same people in New York.  When they started to ask questions, I told them I had questions of my own.  The caller hung up.

Called me 3 times already over the past 3 days! One that I answered was at the wrong time and wrong place. The lady called me at my work when I was on the edge of waiting a call from my vet that was supposed to let me know about my dog's biopsy report. I was so upset and actually told her to stop doing the scam and I am sure she wouldn't want anyone try to scam her family. She hung up!

And I thought I was special! But really, imagine all of us having won half a million dollars... You have to know that this is a scam.  The woman asked me questions about my investments (what does that have to do with winning?) and bank accounts  (why do they need to know how much I have in those accounts?), so when I kept asking these questions, she hung up. So rude!

Got a call from a Ben Reily around 8 AM. Claimed that he was from Lipshitz, Green and Associates, a tax firm out of Buffalo, NY. He asked if I entered the Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes and if I received a notification letter that I had won. He asked for my address which I figured he already had and set up a time when the "check" would be delivered, which was this Friday between 9-11 AM. Supposedly I won the $500,000 second prize. He asked what ID I would use and I said driver's license. He said that my wife needed to hear the information the "senior attorney" had to give us, but when she got on we were disconnected.

Called my cell phone a couple of times this morning claiming to be with a law firm, asked for me by name & said something about Clearing House. When I would not confirm my identity and asked him first to explain what call was regarding, he hung up.  What concerned me was how he got my name-have given my cell numbers to medical & some service providers. Would like to know who is selling their phone lists to scammers.

Same thing happen to me.  He kept asking why wasn't I excited and I came right out and told him this is a scam.  I tried to asked him questions and we got disconnected.  Disconnected right???  He called back and it happened again.  When I called back this number is not a working number.  SCAM SCAM SCAM  Surely hope no one gets taken.

Richard Wells has been calling my husband's cell with the same information, wants to meet to present check.  Husband told him to come on over, we'll be glad to have him meet with our legal team.  Check is to be delivered by courier.  Hmmm!  Too good to be true, it's a SCAM!!!

Call from 716-312-7568 said he worked for an law firm he mumbled the name caller ID says from Hamburg NY he had my address and zip code  said I had won  $500,000.00 would be nice said a courier would be here between 9 and 11 on Wednesday sure am not going to hold m breath.
