- Lady CaliGet same message, but they are calling for somone I do not know. Have asked them to remove number, but they insit on calling, so now, when I get a call I decided to turn tables on them...instead of ignoring them I tell them this (and they have actually STOPPED calling my number) - just read this below:
"Oh, I am so gladed you called, hold on just a minute while I turn down TV (or turn stove off, etc.- be creative and go back in about 3 minutes). Now, again I am glad you called because I am SOOOO lonley. I've got a pain in my back that won't quit...and gas, oh my gosh you can't believe. It's probably all the beans I've been cookin, you know we are in a recession and I try and stretch the almighty dollar."
If you talk talk talk, and not let them get a word in they will hang up on you and won't call back more than 2 time.- Caller: Buffalo NY
- MandyI received a very urgent message from this number. She insisted I call back immediately and did not say what it was in regards to. When I called, the lady who answered said my case manager had stepped away from her desk and would call me back 'immediately'. That was 3 days ago. And I have left a message on her voicemail as well. Guess it is just a hoax. What low-lifes -- seriously.
- camigramleft a message and a case#. Tried to call the number back, busy. They called my daughter, now that's where I draw the line. If "I" have business (which I don't) then call me, not my relatives or friends. Someone named Ms Mason....called me about 3 months ago with the same crap. I called the supposed debtor and they have no clue as to what this number could be referring to.
- Mike| 1 replyThey just called me and said there is a claim against my SS. I called them back the lady "Melisa" wasn't there to answer my call then some guy name Michael Stern started saying" just because you're 82 years old you think you don't have to pay your bills?" he was super rude. I asked please mail me the documents since I don't owe anything to anybody. I had one collection one time and I took care of it recently. He said we sent you the documents and started being rude again. I asked to resend it so I could review and take care of it if it is legit but he laugh at me. I recorded the call. Where can I go and place a complain? I'm old and I'm really shaking. I never had anybody talked to me the way he did. Low life.
- Just Tired of it| 1 replyThis lady called my husband's number 2day while he was at work saying if he didn't pay 100$ a month they would garnish his wages. He asked how much was is she said he wrote a check for 900$ in 2004. NEVER has he written a check in his life!!! He asked a check? I don't write checks. She replied we will garnish you if you don't pay and said she works for a lawyer... PLEASE . We've gotten those calls before so we knew it was a scam. If you have ever defaulted on a loan even if you eventually were garnished or you paid it (and we did) the company puts them online I don't know where, but they do and fraudulant collectors try 2 collect. We traced all the way back on the first time they ever called us and contacted the loan company directly who infoprmed us it was most likely a scam because we owed them nothing they had been paid off yrs ago. So the older lady who said she's had a collection once, they most likely found her info online, which is also how they get your SS#, and are using it to scam her out of money. IT'S NOT A TRUE DEBT COLLECTOR. The
only reason they even got his number is because an EX-Sister-law who had been contacted with the bogus story gave them our number. They just called anybody with the last name until it was a hit :|... JERKS!!! Wish there were a way to remove our info from wherever those places post it otherwise it seems you can only chane your number to get it to stop- Call type: Debt collector
- barbara replies to bearshoneyGet your free yearly credit report before you start handing out money they tried to get me so I got all three credit report
- barbara replies to Mikewww.Isee3.com. This is a FBI website where you can make a compliant.
- barbara replies to Just Tired of itThey get them them from those back ground check places. They don't get the full social security number just the last 4 Didgets. Never gave them your full sen. Because they don't have it and they CAN NOT GET IT!
- DeeThis company has called me as well! People dont give in to their sceme. Trust me thats all it is, is a scam. They do not have an officer working for them and they can not get a warrant for your arrest. Trust me I have already checked into all of this. However they will stop calling you if you turn the tables on them!! when they call just say some off the wall stuff or call them back over and over with off the wall stuff and I promise they will stop calling and threatening you. I know this because it is what I have done and it works!!!!
