I analyzed the messages from Fred Sneider and Jason.  Both are the same person.

I am a forensics analyst.
Jason and Fred Schneider are likely the same person.
Notice that Jason and Fred both:
Talk about "these guys"
Use the British spelling of Judgement, not the US spelling of Judgment.
Mention the term, "they are for real"
Mention the term, "you better pay"
Neither email uses sentence and contraction punctuation.  Period and contraction marks are missing.  Examples "DIDT" and "im" instead of Didn't and I'm.
Both messages were posted on 27 Jun.
This person is probably not originally from the US.
Better luck next time Mr Fred "Jason" Schneider.  I suggest you get an education so you won't have to call and harass innocent people about debts they don't owe.

Many of the textual and sentence patterns are the same as in the emails from Jason and Fred.
- Judgement - same British spelling. (all three postings)

Here is a classic example of someone who should not be in the junk debt buying/debt collection business. Jay Brian Ledford, 45, of Colleyville, TX is a Certified Public Accountant who may have succumbed to the allure of the bottom- feeder debt business, without any background or prior training in it. It appears to me that he saw a potential for money that is is ill-equipped

At least that is what I found in researching him and his organizations.

Jay Brian Ledford appears to have gone out and purchased portfolio’s of old, (mostly worthless) junk debts from one of the worst junk debt collectors, that used to operate in the industry. That organization was CSGA, LLC an illegitimate offspring subsidiary of Bronson & Migliaccio, of Buffalo, NY. B&M are Collect America franchisee’s who attempted to branch out on their own, and failed miserably. CSGA no longer operates, they failed because the debts they were collecting on were old, out of statute, containing no valid chain of ownership, which caused CSGA, LLC to issue bogus affidavits and claims that almost never met most state legal standards. B&M took a financial bath on CSGA as did the majority of appearance lawyers they hired to collect on these junk debts.

It appears that in his haste to enter the junk debt business, CPA Ledford purchased a CSGA portfolio and is attempting to collect on them through NATIONAL RECOVERY GROUP, LLC, A BUFFALO, NY BASED COLLECTION AGENCY. A check of several state records shows that Ledford does not have debt collector licensing or bonds anywhere in the U.S., which appears to make them an illegal debt collector.

The good news for consumers is that Ledford and National Recovery appear to be smart enough not to place these bogus accounts into consumer credit files. Perhaps the risk of a Class Action lawsuit is a good deterrent for them or they may even be smart enough to realize the majority of these accounts are out of statute in most states.

First a Certified Public Account, now a junk debt, bottom-feeder, but wait…that’s not all! Ledford also is involved in selling consumers a membership plan in health care benefits called the Platinum Capital Benefits Card.

My advice to consumers contacted by NATIONAL RECOVERY GROUP, LLC on debts owned by:

is to hold them to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) by demanding complete validation along with a chain of ownership. It is my impression, based on the information I have, that they will find that a very difficult if not impossible task to perform.

Having no licensing or bonds may also raise the specter of potential legal actions for collecting debts illegally, which would be the decision of a consumer law professional.

Based on his total lack of experience, the dumpster trash accounts he purchased, his inability to produce any valid chain of ownership or reasonable debt validation and other bone headed moves made by this collector, I predict that Jay B. Ledford and his debt collection companies will likely be out of this industry before too long.

You should file a complaint with the New York Attorney General office in Buffalo, NY, and with the FCC.

where they have a form you can fax in.  There are also some very heartening stories of legal actions taken against unscrupulous debt collectors and process servers who have been charged with various corrupt practices.

From other postings, it seems that National Recovery Group or NR Group has changed their name to "The Law Office of Scott Wheat," in what may be an attempt to trick people into believing that the people placing the calls are lawyers, which would be a serious FDCPA violation.  In various 800notes postings, people have stated than these debt collectors announce that they are calling "from the Law Office of Scott Wheat."  This may falsely implies they are lawyers or that perhaps they are working for a lawyer.  When questioned whether they were an attorney or not, they have referred to themselves as "litigators."  This may falsely implies that they are someone who practices law.

It appears that NR Group or National Recovery Group may have reincorporated themselves once again.  If it's like their last three re-births, they are running from lawsuits by changing their name.

I hope to raise this issue when I next meet with the New York AG.

I got calls last year as did my parents from National Recovery Group saying that they were going to put me in jail and take everything in a lawsuit if I didn't work with them.  They had a lawyer at the county court house ready to file.  It scared my parents so much that they loaned me the money to settle and the money was taken from my checking account by National Recovery.  On a good month I make about $200 to $300 period and eat a lot of cold cereal.

Now, I have a Falzone & Associates saying that they bought the loan and I owe them.  Well, I have a settlement letter and proof that the money was taken so I just filed a complaint with the Oregon Attorney General's office and named both groups.   Looks like one sold an already settled account to another fabulous group.  Slimy.

The www.nationalrecovery.com website is not the same group and are in PA, not NY.  I called them and they spent a long time trying to help me and couldn't find me owing any bad debt.  BECAUSE I SETTLED!

So, if you are National Recovery Group or Falzone, know that I've got the AG's office notified.

Best of luck to any of you dealing with this.  I'd say always contact your Atty Generals office and know your rights before you talk to anyone let alone give them money.

Now, I'm going to some TV news stations and file complaints with investigative reporters - they are the ones telling people how easy it is to settle.

I did some dirt work on a ranch or lack there of Jay ledford and Neil Patel. They owe Barrington construction $1850 they don't pay their debts so no one should pay them. Wish I wasn't so busy Ida called a collecter to collect.
