They live in a different town and she took his last name.  Guessing this one was totally illegal, contacting someone's sibling?

Debt collection--suspect it's a zombie debt collector like Portfolio Recovery.

Calls and hangs up...comes up as a cell phone in Towanada NY.

I got a call from this number didn't recognize it so I sent it to voicemail. On the voicemail he said the call was for Debbie I couldn't catch the last name but he said he was Eric Wayne from ACI and left a call back number 1-800-753-0628 Ext 2084. He didn't say why he was calling exactly but stressed that it was extremely important to call him back. I'm not Debbie so I'm not calling him back but I do think its some kind of debt collection agency.

Zombie debt collector.  Only talks to the voicemail.  I suspect it's not the actual debt collections agency but they've farmed out the cold calling to individuals who have no information.  Their only job is to leave messages and they have no actual information on what they're supposedly collecting on.  Which is why if you answer, they don't talk.

Hi my name is Tim Dodson and i like to trick people into picking up the phone by using different numbers with different area codes.  I am from New york and work for a debt collection agency called ACI.  i wish i could get my life together and get a real job, but im stuck calling you inbreds cause you owe me money...  I will never stop calling you, and will call you multiple times a day.  please do not pick up the phone when you see this number or 716.418.7197.  As i get more call from different numbers i will quickly update this posting so that no one else will fall for this crap.  oh yea im a loser.

If you ever worked for Chase and had an overpayment or discrepency in your last pay check this could be them trying to collect what they think you owe them.

They call but never leave a message. I don't owe any debt. They also never send any mail, which they're supposed to in order for a debt to be considered legitimate. I've heard that this company calls people trying to say that you owe PayPal money (my PayPal account is fine and I don't have a credit account with them).

Asked for money to continue growing their business said I would receive royalties After 6 months of my initial $3000 deposit.
