I got a call from this number and he keeps saying that I'm going to be served if I don't make a payment with him. Googled the name of the company, no such company exists. Definitely a scam.

They called looking for my mother, not sure how they got my number. "John Clark" left a message saying that several formal complaints were about to filed in the county she lives in and he is scheduling her appearance or something but can get a voluntary statement from her.  He also said there is an investigation underway and that a summons could be presented at either her home or place of employment if she doesn't call back. He gave this number as his direct call back number, the call came in from an 'unknown' number. He ended the message by saying  "this attempt to reach you will be marked in the docket accordingly."

It sounded a lot like a scam, but with my mother it's hard to know..... she really may have a summons being filed against her.  I'm inclined to think it's a scam though because we live in Michigan and the call back number is a New York number, that doesn't make sense.
