They just called again (call number 7 in 1.5 days), and actually replied when I answered the call.  It's ironic that it's from a NY State Senator who happens to be the sponsor of a recent "do not call" bill:

"Many of us have felt harassed by these calls which seem excessive and many times disingenuous in terms of how the callers represent their reason for calling," Senator Bill Perkins. "They will now have to tell you up front what they are trying to sell you and they cannot call after certain hours. This legislation puts an end to those kinds of calls and what's more, the Consumer Protection Board will be more empowered through this legislation to investigate and punish those who ignore the new law."

Good grief, 7 friggin phone calls from these nut jobs in less than 6 hrs ; are you saying that it's actually Bill Perkins office calling to bug people about unwanted phone calls?
Anybody have HIS number at home so that I can call the hell outta HIM?

I didn't listen long enough to find out what they wanted...he's running for re-election, so that's probably it.
